I just want to say they have an amazing server named Marcella. The ambiance at the restaurant was peaceful and nice. We came in wanting to try the labneh and the server also recommended the moussaka. The moussaka was the BEST thing we had there and is a must try. The chicken shawarma was solid and came with a garlic dip. If you like cheese, I’d recommend the grilled halloumi with fig jam and the knafeh which is basically a sweet mozzarella cake. We ordered a mint lemonade that was really refresh

Old-time bar with Irish bartenders, 2 kinds of ale (light or dark) & sawdust on the floor.
Stepping into this old-school beer house in New York feels like walking straight into history. The sawdust-covered floors, the worn wood, and the constant hum of conversation give it an atmosphere that’s both gritty and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t try too hard—because it doesn’t have to. The beer selection keeps things simple: a light and dark option, done right. No endless menu, no overthinking—just solid, satisfying pours that fit the vibe perfectly. And with how busy it ge

Borscht and pierogi are menu highlights at this lively Ukrainian eatery with a rustic vibe and murals on the walls.
Our friends brought my husband and I here when we were in NYC together because it's one of their favorite spots. My husband and I shared: - Ukrainian Borscht - Choice of 8 pierogi: potato, braised beef short rib, cheese, sauerkraut & mushroom, bacon egg & cheese, arugula & goat cheese, chicken & vegetable - Holubtsi (stuffed cabbage) with mushroom gravy I loved everything. I love that they let you get 8 different pierogis in one order. I wish they let you add the special in too, but that's alr

This is definitely one of the most unique coffee shops I have been to in NYC. It has such a cozy warm atmosphere in the living room like area. For working on your laptop or reading & a bar like feel at the bar w/o the alcohol but an interesting tea / drink menu. The staff is so friendly, but what I took out most from this place is the Cheers vibes where everyone knew each other & welcomed newbies like me with open arms. Busy, circa-1894 Italian bakery serving cannoli & coffee beneath a stained-glass ceiling.
Sad to see fall be gone, wish fall weather could just stay forever. Venieros is a really great place for some Italian desserts. It is authentic and the pastries taste delicious! The pastries have a rich and authentic taste to it. It’s also not too expensive. They go by the pound, and you can try a variety of different pastries. The fruit tart, eclair, and cannoli came out to be $2 each, while the cheese cake was $6. The cheese cake and pastries tasted really good. Overall, the pastries were real

Majorly Disappointed after a Promising Start I really wanted to love Momo Fuku’s, and to be fair, the night started off on a high note. I thoroughly enjoyed the happy hour—they make a great Lychee Cosmo, and that subtle hint of cayenne is an absolute vibe. My absolute favorite item of the night was the Fried Fingerling potatoes! They were perfectly crispy, crunchy, and a genuinely nice change from your typical boring potato. But now for the tea... and by tea, I mean the noooooddddlllleeeesss:

Lebanese and Middle eastern fare in a contemporary space with reclaimed wood accents and exposed brick.
Had a great experience at Au Za’atar in East Village—the food and overall vibe were just amazing. We started with the hummus with sautéed mushrooms and pine nuts, and it was honestly one of the best hummus dishes I’ve had—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Also tried the sumac fries, which were super addictive—perfectly crispy and lightly tangy from the sumac, with a nice fresh touch from the parsley. The shish tawook was cooked just right—juicy, well-marinated with lemon and herbs, and

The Halal Guys is one of the most iconic food stories in New York City, and that legacy is real and earned. What started as a humble cart at 53rd Street and Sixth Avenue in the early 1990s built a following so devoted that it eventually grew into a national franchise -- and the food that made them famous is still recognizable in every bowl and platter they serve. The signature white sauce remains the star: creamy, tangy, and completely their own. The chicken and beef gyro platters over seasoned

Some of the most authentic Georgian cuisine we've had outside of the country itself. If you're not familiar with Georgian food, this is an excellent place to start , and if you are, it holds up. The sausage dish is a standout, perfectly spiced and unlike anything you're likely to have tasted unless you've spent time in Georgia. The kinkali are not to be missed either. If you’re a New Yorker or visiting New York City for the first time, Artichoke Basille’s Pizza is a must-visit. This place is not just about pizza, it’s a New York food experience. 🍕 Food (5/5) The food absolutely deserves five stars. The Artichoke slice is legendary for a reason. Visited 787 Coffee recently and had an average experience overall. The coffee itself was decent, but honestly felt very expensive for what you get. It’s more of a quick grab-and-go spot rather than a place to sit and relax comfortably. I had the Eggs Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered a halloumi dish, which was also very good. The mimosa was excellent as well, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and overall experience. The only issue was that although we had a reservation for three people, we were seated at a table for two because our third guest had not arrived yet. I don’t think that was the right approach and it felt a bit disappointing. Other than that, everything was great.

One of my favorite pizza spots in NYC. The slices are huge, fresh, and packed with flavor. We tried several different varieties and every one was delicious.
