For my fellow milk coffee snobs: it's rare to find a place in NYC which knows how to respect both the espresso shot and alternative milk. Came here on a cold (-17C) sat morn and ordered an oat capp to warm my pretentious soul. Smooth, well-heated milk and even did a bit of latte art despite being in takeaway cup. The coffee had distinctive notes (deeply nutty and a touch of lavender).

This has got to be by far my favorite tacos in the city. They were worth ALL the hype they have been getting. Carnitas Ramirez is out here serving all parts of the pig in taco, Gordita or just the free standing meat form. I ordered the cheek, belly and ribs. This small, unassuming counter service bakery should be all over social media, their treats are incredible!!! The PB&J puff is a perfectly decadent dessert. The guava cheesecake Danish and cookie butter cheesecakes are super creamy and tasty.

Kingston Hall is one of those hidden gems you don’t know how you ever lived without. The atmosphere is so cozy and fun with perfectly dim lighting. There’s a pool table and all different kinds of seating. You can even sit in an enclosed balcony and watch the street. The drinks were expensive but good. I’d definitely recommend coming here!

A fun atmosphere with decent cocktails. Nothing blew us away in terms of flavor on our visit, but the pearl diver was quite good and blood pact not bad either. The mango tree was really h enjoyable - tasted like rubbing alcohol, no mango flavor, nothing to balance it al all. The cocktails were gorgeous and the presentation carefully and planned. The fire show and lighting is dramatic and demands your attention. The drinks are also incredibly strong, and I definitely would be careful in future!

I’ve never had cheesesteak before and didn’t know what to expect, but G’s set the bar insanely high! It was so salty and mouthwatering, and didn’t make the bread soggy. The toasted sesame seed bread was so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They also have jazz music playing and a cute interior. 10/10 will be coming back on my next visit to NY!
