Stopped in solo for dinner on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised to find an easy seat at the bar. This place really has something for everyone- great cocktails, a solid draft beer selection, delicious food,& excellent customer service. I ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich, which was fresh and flavorful. It initially came out with tomato after I had requested it without, and the staff immediately made me an entirely new sandwich without hesitation. That level of service was much app

10/10, no exaggeration. Onikii’s katsu was insane massive portion, perfectly crispy on the outside, and somehow still tender and juicy inside. Truly elite katsu. The service was attentive and efficient without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better. Everything hit exactly how it should. Absolutely worth it and definitely going back. I’d recommend their edamame and katsu. SO GOOD!! Only downside, there was no heat or hot water in the bathroom/restaurant.

My partner recommended we come here for my birthday on December 5th, 2025, so we stopped by for drinks with our best friend. The service was awesome, the young woman (didn't get her name) with the winged eyeliner was incredible, she made sure we were always tended to. The other staff were always around and cleaning up our table, they're awesome too! I got the grateful dead simply off of the name and didn't regret it! Absolutely loved this place. It has everything you want from a classic New York pizza spot: charm, character, and seriously great pizza. The location on Houston Street gives it that authentic Manhattan feel, and the atmosphere is warm, lively, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The coal-oven pizza was the highlight. The crust was thin, crisp, and perfectly cooked, with a great balance of sauce and cheese. Every bite tasted fresh, flavorful, and exactly like what you hope for when you’re

I hosted my 26th birthday at Madame X last night and it was such a great experience! The space was perfect for our group and the energy all night was exactly what I wanted. The bartenders were amazing, drinks were great and they were so attentive the entire time. My friends had the best time!! Thank you to the whole team for making it so easy and fun. I’d definitely host here again!🩷

This place was even better than I remembered. Their Gluten-free sourdough bread is remarkable. I had it on a tuna melt. It was fabulous. My wife had the Reuben I don’t eat beef very often, but she gave me a little taste and the corned beef was extraordinary. I also had a gluten-free blueberry muffin that was delicious, not too sweet wonderful texture it was not crumbly, which is hard to accomplish. This place is a hidden gem. Greenwich Village Comedy Club has that classic downtown New York comedy feel -- intimate room, low ceilings, and comics close enough that you can see them sweat. That's how comedy is supposed to be. The shows I've been to have been consistently strong. Great variety in the lineups, solid hosting, and the kind of laughs where your face hurts the next day. With all my tolerance… I did not understand the price and food ratio, most of it was the flat bread - a huge crepe. The meat described in the menu was not the meat I got on my plate - mostly bones. Tables are super close to each other. The food was ok, mostly hot spicy with some of curry flavour. Probably for groups it is ok when you order different foods and cross- try from different plates. We stopped by Thin Cookies on Bleecker Street and absolutely loved it. If you enjoy thin, crispy cookies with buttery flavor and just the right amount of sweetness, this place is a must-visit. The cookies were served warm and tasted incredibly fresh. Even though they’re thin, they still had a soft and chewy center with crisp edges. The chocolate chip was our favorite, but every flavor we tried was delicious. They’re light enough that it’s easy to eat more than one without feeling overwhelmed.

Had a phenomenal meal at Shmoné last night. I decided to revisit this spot. My last visit was over 10 years ago. Maybe it was my youth. But this place has declined. In the actual "bar" the air is thick and smells a little like my father's assisted living facility- the essence of urine. Lastly, thanks to the frequency of digital payment, they have joined the + tax team. So, $12 is actually $13.07. If you want to make 13 bucks for my Belgian just charged me 13- thanks. We have returned and wholly crap!!!! Mind blown with the flavor. I just needed to order a different sandwich!! We got La Italian and La primavera and let me tell you… DELICIOUS!!! The food was pretty good. We got the “New Yorker” as well as another sandwich but I forgot the name of it 🫠 it was pretty good but not as good as the one in Italy. The two guys that were working there were pretty nice and helpful.

The cozy, dimly lit rabbit-themed ambiance is both quirky and inviting, making you want to linger for hours. They offer an impressive beer selection and well crafted cocktails. We shared some snacks, including the pickles and cheese plate, which were delicious and perfect for pairing with drinks. The service was friendly and attentive, and it gradually got busier as the night went on. Expect to spend around $40 per person. It's a great little spot in the East Village.

My wife and I were visiting family in New York City last week, and one of the absolute highlights of our trip was going to Luke's on Friday night. We'd heard that lobster rolls are a must try in NYC, and Luke’s did not disappoint. I don’t usually leave 4 stars but this one hits the spot. It’s a really good burekah. The sides are spot on. Good tahini (hard to find). Tomato’s and schug very good. Biggest issue is not enough filling and because they cook these twice. Not sure if it’s always that way to reheat they were well done. Second biggest issue for $18 you should get more. Like 2-3 of their size portion. Would recommend it but you’re paying a lot. Quality is good. Increase portions and less well done.

An intimate high quality sushi establishment that features wonderful omakase made right in front of you, naturally. Chefs seem relaxed and very friendly and that’s prompted me to call this one of the most chill Omakase restaurants I’ve experienced. So for that reason when I think of overall quality I’m prompted to give it extra points for that alone. It felt easy to chat with my companions here, and not feel like I was intruding on some quiet sacred ritual - as I’ve felt in other high end Omakas

I dined at Shiki last night and unfortunately had a less than stellar experience. My wife and I had reservations for their 17 course $100 omakase. On the positive note they were very accommodating to a food sensitivity that I have, so points for that. I have a hard time digesting very oily meat like toro or Wagyu so they were swapped out without an issue. The chef that served us was polite, but conversation was very limited. We’ve had much more interaction with chefs at most other omakase dinner

The burger was so good (perfectly seasoned, the bun was incredibly soft and buttery) and the egg was excellent too. The crab toast was decent and it wasn’t anything particularly memorable. The burger was definitely the standout dish by far. The service was amazing and all the staff were so nice. The food came out so fast as well! First time going to & Sons and it definitely lived up to the hype. One thing I’d recommend right away — make a reservation. Dining in the city can sometimes feel easier to just walk in and hope for the best, but this spot gets busy and the reservation made everything smooth. The host accommodated us with no issue, which already made the experience start off on a great note

The food here is excellent—very authentic flavors, especially the mala dry pot, which is one of the best I’ve had in nyc. One thing to note is that the staff help pick and weigh the ingredients, which is convenient, but they tend to add quite a lot by default. It can end up being more expensive than expected and always more food than I can finish. It would be great if customers were asked more clearly about portion preferences.

The worst portioning I ever received in a chipotle. I asked for extra white rice and they gave me half a fingernail worths of rice. I’ve been to the union square location and I’ve never had a problem with them ever being stingy about food.
