Laid-back Vietnamese haunt with a snug dining area, executing a modern take on banh mi & rice bowls.
The food is not “not bad” but taste good. I still have to complain about the services. I went to the store around 435. They addressed that they will close at 5pm. I said I know, I saw it on Google map. I ordered 2 sandwich and easy to go. But they gave me attitude, feel like they don’t want my business. But I was so hungry and I believe I will respect their time. I can see my food was prepared and got throw to the counter. I asked again if they will close on 5pm exact. They said they will stop

Visited Bunny & Bro Coffee before heading back home because I saw it on TikTok and I’m so glad I stopped by! This coffee shop is super cute and has such a cozy vibe. The employees were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They also have really nice merch to check out. Most importantly, the coffee was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the visit and I would come back again next time I’m in NYC! 🤍☕️

If there were a bit more cheese and thinner crust I would love this tiny adorable place and space place. They have great deals like 2 plain slices w a can of soda or water for $5. Or 2 pizzas w toppings plus a soda or water for $8.99. The slices are a bit smaller than a typical slice. There just wasn’t enough cheese all around and especially near the crust and then it felt like there was more bread. The owner is nice. He has Halal and gluten free food. There are 4 stools and you can also stand a

Last night was my first time at this magical place, and I already can’t wait to come back. I was seated at the bar and asked for a mocktail, and Camela went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience. He was so friendly, kind, and thoughtful throughout the entire evening. He truly made my first visit to Brass feel so special. I’ve been to many restaurants, but the hospitality here was unmatched. Thank you, Camela, for making me feel so welcomed.

Came here for a quick lunch before a Carnegie Hall show; it’s an easy walk from Moynihan Train Hall and right by the Ed Sullivan Theater. We did the $75, 11-piece omakase and added sake plus one special. Overall, a strong experience. The space is intimate, about 20 seats, and service was thoughtful without being overbearing. They guided us to a sake that matched what we described and got it exactly right. Fish quality was solid across the board. Standouts were the isaki threeline fish, hamachi

The place is cute but the food is garbage. Ordered 2 salads and the vodka pasta and the lasagna. All had zero flavor and were tiny portions for the amount of money. I regretted going there after the first bite. And then they didn’t even offer free water from the tap. They further take your money by making you get it bottled. I never mind spending money for good quality, but this was a waste. Save yourself this one.

Love this healthy spot near Bryant Park. I have been many times since its opening and the staff has been kind and accommodating. Two favorite toasts - the 3 Cheese Italian with jalapeño bread was delicious, and the slight zip of chili oil on the Avocado Smash was perfect! The juices and smoothies are so fresh and healthy. I especially liked Blue Mystique and the Green Machine, for juice, Metabolize. Such a fun ride with an early cucumber subtlety and then a back of the throat zing of jalapeño!

We have been to the Madison/79 location many times over the years as we lived nearby. Now we live near this new location on at 48/3rd Ave. It is a fabulous space on the corner so lots of light and big windows. The space is divided up so it is not one big space. Feels more intimate. For lunch,we had a delicious Bloody Mary as we looked at the menu. Then we started with a kale salad. Next we shared rigatoni alla bolognese and chicken Milanese. Restaurant for everyday Japanese foods such as sushi, tempura, and gyoza.
I grew up in Japan, so I can say with confidence this is not authentic sukiyaki at all. The dish was completely misrepresented and did not resemble traditional Japanese preparation in any way.Instead of a properly balanced sukiyaki broth, it felt more like a soup-like mixture, lacking depth and authenticity. The beef was especially disappointing—cut thick, oddly chewy, and far from the tender texture expected in a well-made sukiyaki.Overall, the quality and execution were very poor and did not r

We had breakfast there almost every day during our stay. Everything is 100% gluten free, finally a truly gluten free spot! All the drinks also have dairy free options. We tried the cinnamon cake, the chocolate donut, the brioche donut, the challah bread, and the pumkin cake. For drinks, we had the cinnamon bun latte, the raspberry matcha, the hot chocolate, and the caramel coffee. Everything was absolutely divine. The service is friendly and perfect. Snug, busy bar offering finger foods, burgers & tacos, plus cocktails, beer & a variety of whiskies.
Huge open space concept and tons of different seating options. This place gets packed at night, especially on game days. However, lunch time it’s pretty quiet and you have the place to yourself. The bartenders are always great, paying attention to your needs. The food is pretty much bar style but they also have a variety of yummy pizzas. Perfect for large groups.

They are still figuring themselves out (our bread took a very long time, do yourself a favor and order 2 instead of 1 because of the size, you're welcome) but the conceit and the choices/pairings are wonderful. When I went, they were out of at least 5-7 different items and they were ones I really wanted to try, but c'est la vie. Of the ones I tried, truly outstanding pairings (like Murray's level) and fair pricing. I also discovered and fell in love with German trollinger red wine, which they se

Take-out counter for espresso drinks, cold brews & pastries, with a hidden door to a bar by night.
It’s a small space but cute inside. Their syrups are organized to show what combinations other customers have enjoyed together. That inspired me to try cherry and caramel in my latte. Unfortunately I didn’t feel it paired too well, but I do hope to come back and try others. The employees were so friendly and they have a punch card which is always a plus.

This is my favorite spot in the entirety of the Hugh in terms of main meals from what I've tried. The Super Suya bowl, for $16, is my preferred option here. Suya, for those who don't know, is basically a spiced peanut powder, and it goes wonderfully on top of grilled meats. I recently visited Puya Tacos de Puebla with my daughter, we strive to give companies 5 stars, but are just unable to do so here. To be transparent this is more of a 2.5 stars not 3 but unable to give a half of a star. The setup feels more like a fast-food environment, and I will say the service was quick and efficient—we were helped almost immediately upon arriving, which was a plus. That said, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations, especially for the price. I ordered two birria tacos

Obvio is one of those places that gets everything right. The food is incredible and portions are on the smaller side, but every dish is packed with flavor. The Caesar salad was surprisingly one of my favorites, the beet ravioli is an absolute must-order, and the burger with the perfectly crispy fries was also excellent. The cocktails were just as good as the food. On top of that, the atmosphere is amazing. The space is super aesthetic, making it perfect for pictures, a fun night out with friend

Such a good place for a midday lunch. Clean, with good food and an overall customer-friendly feel. There are some outdoor tables, a couple of tables in the tiny courtyard, and comfortable seating inside as well. The interior feels nice and accommodating. Notes: Rating for the style of food, and the only other good Halal cart/halal spot in the area outside of Turkish places is the similarly priced King of Shawarma & Falafel, which has worse quality meat. Also, they make the chapli kabobs to order, as they should, so order early or order something else if you're in a hurry. I recently visited Café Ginori at Bergdorf Goodman, and it truly feels like discovering a hidden gem in Manhattan. Located at the basement level, it’s easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there, but that’s part of what makes it so special. The moment you find it, the space feels exclusive and exquisite, almost like stepping into a private club tucked away inside the iconic store. The café itself is small and cozy, which adds to the charm. It’s not a loud or crowded place — instead, it feels inti

I and two of my friends ate dinner here for the first time this evening and keeping it short we all three were left feeling disappointed . We tried the omakase and not only were we left hungry (not uncommon, I am used to smaller portions at omakase) but also underwhelmed. From the cold appetizer dishes that both consisted of marinated vegetables to a very underwhelming 6th and final plate that consisted of just two chicken wings with minimal flavor and a side what seemed like prepackaged potato

Our experience at Bar Rocco was underwhelming at best. When we arrived we asked to be seated at the bar and were told we could not be because there was no bartender. The atmosphere is nice with large floor to ceiling windows and our seat was by the window. The wait time to order a cocktail ( which they were able to serve without a bartender) was very long even though there were only 2 or 3 other tables that had guests. We were asked if we wanted to order our lunch before our drinks arrived and

Seating is limited, get there early. Got the chicken sandwich. Chicken was tender and very good. Wish I'd gotten the spicier sauce; the sweetness of the plantains would have paired excellently with a stronger kick. Also got the squash soup, which was good; but was too full from the sandwich to eat very much. Sandwich is very filling, so keep that in mind when ordering.
