I started with the saffron shrimp, had the lamb shank for my main and ended it with the warm brownie for dessert. Had a really great experience at Van Leeuwen Ice Cream on 6th Ave in New York. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and there’s such a great variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. I especially loved that you can sample flavors beforehand, which makes choosing so much more fun. They also offer many vegan options, different cup and cone choices, plus lots of toppings. I love this cute neighborhood restaurant. The chip mascot is so cute. But besides that, the environment is authentic, makes me feel like I’m back in Los Angeles. Came here after a failed trip to Sojourn Social. Got amazing service for my takeout order. The woman taking my order answered all of my questions and they immediately began working on my order. Once I ordered, she immediately walked to the back to make the coffee I ordered. I also always feel at ease when I see staff taking their lunch break inside. One person (out of many!l was taking their break, and they were enjoying the food.

We had a nice dinner here. The Georgian lamb soup was very flavorful and unique, and the chicken cutlet was delicious — it almost tasted like a chicken patty and was really well cooked. The smashed potatoes on the side were a bit too loose and under-seasoned for our taste. We also tried a Russian beer, which was good. First time here and enjoyed our experience. The crispy spicy tuna was great, the rice was perfectly crispy. I had sushi deluxe and I was pleasantly surprised the nigiri tasted fresh and buttery. We stopped by Copper Mug Coffee and had a great experience! We were greeted as soon as we entered, and the staff was friendly. Such a quaint coffee shop with vibrant decor and artwork! There was a great variety of coffees, espressos, seasonal lattes, and teas to choose from. We both ordered a cortado, and it tasted great. Two things we love for local eats - vegetarian and desi. And the wife cannot stand cilantro. So when the super friendly staff said the entire menu can be made without cilantro she thought she just found desi restaurant heaven. We had no idea they had dining but were geared to take it to go.
