I had the #1 and the #18, the house special and the Vietnamese spring rolls. The portions are good, the spring rolls are fried to perfection and the broth is really nice! The atmosphere was really nice and peaceful, the service was really nice too! If you are in the neighborhood 100% check it out!

This review is way overdue. I celebrated my birthday here with a big group of friends. I chose to do a traditional Kamayan style because I wanted to try something different. Even my pickiest of friends were so happy with the food. It was SO much food, the price was great and we were even able to do karaoke at the end. I can’t wait to go back, the food was truly incredible and the service was phenomenal. Love a great spot like this!

Came to have lunch here with my dog and enjoyed every second of it. Food was amazing and the service was equally as great. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We had a party of 3 and they arranged outdoor seating for us and even adjusted their outside TV for us to watch the World Cup game on. They even offered a bowl of water for my dog. I had their chilaquiles and they were tasty! A family owned business that puts everything into their business!

Outpost of a local chain offering Japanese groceries & prepared foods like sushi & bento boxes.
I love Sunrise Mart! The store is broken into 2 storefronts that are right next door to each other. One of them is grocery and the other is a fast & casual cafe. On the cafe side, there are plenty of premade meal options you can take on the go that are cooked daily. You can also order something to be made new. I almost always go for one of the Katsu Don dishes and it never disappoints. I’ll also get the sushi. It’s by no means the best sushi in the city, but it’s good for how quick and easy it

A menu featuring build-your-own ramen & poke bowls with minimalist interiors & bamboo table accents.
Nice place to order poke, so close to Grand Central. I ordered online and got: Sushi Rice, Seared Albacore, Scallop, Sweet Onion, Sweet Chili Gochujang, Hijiki Seaweed, Pickled Ginger, Seaweed Salad. The Sushi rice was really good, as were all others. Loved the Albacore. I got a feeling that sweet onion did not fit in, but that was my choice. Next time I will try their custom pre-made selections, which looked quite compelling. The ordering system inside the restaurant seemed quite good.

Had a great time at Apotheke NoMad. The cocktails were well crafted and not overly sweet. The atmosphere feels upscale but still comfortable, making it a great place to spend an evening with friends or a date night. One of the highlights was the outdoor rooftop seating with views of the Empire State Building. It does get very crowded, especially during peak hours, so I’d recommend going a bit earlier or later if you can. Overall, a really enjoyable spot for drinks and one of the more memorable c

Bit more than a year ago my wife spotted this restaurant on a bus through to LGA. We finally had the chance to give it a shot just yesterday. Day before a blizzard, always is a great time for good eats. Aside from ourselves there was only 1 other couple, but again it’s mid day before a blizzard. The restaurant is decorated perfect IMHO. Without being anything over the top I felt it was a very nice balance of dark, old, new and modern - where needed. I really liked the feel and the space. The f

Visited Brooklyn this past weekend and was looking for authentic Guyanese Chinese food. My best friend suggested this place. The flavor profile is on point. I’m big on service so I wasn’t blown away. I wish it came with shredded cabbage and cucumbers. I also wish the pepper sauce was real pepper sauce and not pepper sauce water. I was so excited about the amazing flavor that I waited until I returned home to Maryland to really enjoy it. I’ll definitely be back for the food whenever I’m in Brookl

Walking in, the atmosphere was very welcoming, the music was soft and the staff was very nice. It was a new experience. We had to build our oder before we sat down. It did not take long to get our orders and the meal was very good. I especially loved the roasted seaweed. Will definitely return.

The shrimp & pork siu mai was juicy, flavorful, and generously filled. The chive pork shrimp potstickers were also amazing — crispy on one side and soft on the other, just perfect. I came here for dinner today on a weekday and was seated pretty quickly. There were a few empty tables when we arrived and one waitress. The dishes took some time to arrive (around 20 minutes). I ordered 2 momos (one chicken and one beef filling) and a beef noodle soup. The noodle soup was rich in flavor and the dumplings were juicy. I also asked for their specialty drink which is called Butter Tea and it’s a salty tea/milk drink. I didn’t like the drink much because I personally prefer sweeter

It’s delicious—I’d happily recommend it as a spot in our neighborhood. But I’m still hungry; you really have to order multiple dishes to get your fill. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is great, too. My only minor complaint is that the meat in the pho was a bit tough and had a slight gamey odor; it would be even better if they could fine-tune that. Right now, the portion size is on the "Central Park Line"—and since that area is basically Amsterdam, you really need to increase the am

Bustling, no-frills Vietnamese storefront eatery doling out pho, banh mi & bubble tea.
Stumbled upon this cozy and delightful resto. Got one of the lunch specials - a Banh Mi roasted pork sandwich and mint tea. Perfect on a blustery fall day. Every yummy sandwich starts with good bread and theirs is freshly baked and slightly crusty and holds up to the meat and veggies in between. They don’t hold back either. My sandwich had a generous amount of savory and flavorful roasted pork along with the julienne carrots and other veggies. And service was kind and efficient. Could smell the

Probably my favorite restaurant in all of NYC! The flavors are amazing and remind me of homemade Indonesian food. Indonesian cuisine is so hard to find here and I’m so happy this location is close by. I usually get the Soto Ayam and the Nasi Goreng with sausage. Also, their satay is great and love love their Thai iced coffee!!

Absolutely terrible experience. The food quality was extremely disappointing — the portions had barely any meat and felt like a complete rip-off for the price charged. The taste itself was below average, but the tiny amount of meat in the dishes made it even worse. What made the experience unacceptable was the customer service. The receptionist was incredibly rude and disrespectful from the start. When we politely complained about the food quality, instead of apologizing or trying to resolve th

Best har gow (shrimp dumplings) I've ever had! They're huge, made with fresh, clean, and quality ingredients, and come in a dumpling skirt! Really something else. I'd come here just for that. My husband loves their dry aged beef dumplings. Pretty unique. Even though they're small, they are dense and packed! They're surprisingly quite heavy to pick up with your chopsticks. The Sichuan cucumber salad was packed with flavor! I don't like bean sprouts but they changed my mind! Tried their juicy pork

Service was a bit slow and pho soup was not savoury enough (it’s very sweet) but otherwise, no complaints about the food. Adding extra brisket to the mama pho was the best idea ever because it made the ratio of pho to meat a lot better. The short rib was tender as well. Pork chop for pork chop rice was good too. I was able to get a seat on a weekend around opening time. I got the half sandwich of the pho sandwich. The sandwich was delicious it had all the flavors of pho and even though it was half it was still a great size. Theres also different types of hot sauces on the counter like Jamaica pepper sauce and Sriracha.

This is a solid pho spot with a unique soup and sandwich deal I haven’t seen elsewhere: you get a half soup and half sandwich combo, which is a great option. I tried the veggie pho, which came with fake meat and tofu. It was decent, though a bit heavy on the raw onion for my taste (easy enough to remove). Everything else was on point. Saw a few videos on Instagram of people saying their bread is freshly baked, light and crispy so I wanted to see if fresher bread was noticeably better. EXCELLENT!!! The best food, service & staff. I have been here many times over the last few years, and it is the place I order from for takeout/delivery the most often anywhere in the neighborhood. Their delivery people are awesome. Everything I've had here has been excellent. My favorites are the laska soup noodles with shrimp and coconut curry stew with garlic rice.
