One of my goto place in Chinatown for Catonese comfort food. There is no wrong order. Roast Chicken, Pork and Duck over Rice for everyday. Congee for when your feeling under the weather. Stir fry kitchen dishes are a must. The staff treats you like family. Always get lectures by the old lady for asking for ice water, stating it's bad for my health. 😆

This really surprised me - I liked it a lot. I thought it would be pretty mid/normal Taiwanese breakfast but it was great. The yo tiao in the fan Tuan was super crispy and delicious. The radish cake was a favourite. The savory soy milk and sweet were great. The breakfast roll was good. The breakfast for 2 was super big, and was enough for 3 of us. We got there at 11am on a Sunday and waited around 35 mins. There’s a waitlist so you can walk around while you wait and they’ll text you.

Delicious food, nice service, clean space, very affordable price. Especially loved the dessert. Most dishes were below $20. The waiter and waitress were so much warmer and more friendly than those of the 5 star hotels we stayed in the city. I’d love to come back when visiting New York City next time.

Second time coming here. One of my favorite hotpot in Flushing. It is all you can eat, reasonably priced. The meat is good quality and the vegetables are also fresh and crispy. My bf and I usually stop by here after the gym - really authentic and fresh food that is a mix of dishes from across China. This is a favorite of mine in midtown for suan cai yu (pickled mustard green fish). Every dish, however, isn’t super oily and actually quite delicate given that it’s a bit more high end. Authentic Hong Kong style restaurant with childhood memories dishes Highly recommend their new menu with rice dishes and stir-fried noodles. Amazing high end Chinese food best Ribs in the city . Had green beans in black bean sauce and lemon chicken a pear tart and lichens for dessert . Good Sichuan spot in midtown! We got some classics like cucumber salad, mapo tofu and green peppercorn chicken which I loved. I also really liked the fried noodles with chicken. The truffle fried rice was very truffle heavy so if you’re a fan of that you’ll love it. Service was great and our dishes came quick and served hot. It might have been the time we were there (2pm) but regardless dim sum should be hot not cold. The heater thing was not turned on in the dim sum cart so everything got cold. I had pepper steak with their fried rice. The fried rice was actually incredible and the pepper steak tasted great, good cuts of meat, packed container. Quality and portion exceeded expectations. Price was fine The value was good and the owner who took my order was fast and friendly. I’d consider missing my flight again!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. The sushi was some of the freshest I’ve ever had—everything is incredibly high quality and well-made. On top of that, the buy-two-get-one deal is a great bonus. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for really good sushi.

Zaomen Qian in Flushing and was surprised by how affordable it is — many skewers are only $0.30 each and there’s a big variety to choose from. They also have a promotion where you get a free diaolong beef if you spend $100. Besides skewers, you can also order dishes à la carte. I tried the oysters, fatty beef, and scallops, and everything tasted fresh. Overall a good spot for skewers with lots of options and very reasonable prices.

The food is is amazing traditional Sichuan food. Must get scallion pancakes, mapo tofu, sauerkraut fish and Dan Dan noodles or Zajiang noodles!! Place is small and not fancy but food is why I keep going!
