Red House feels like a culinary mix of Shanghai and Northern Chinese cuisine. One thing is for sure: they do not play around with their spices! Even ordering 'wei wei la' (mild spice) packs a punch. Overall, most of the dishes lean toward standard Chinese comfort food, nothing groundbreaking stood out, but the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. Also reco bringing cash bc they offer cash discount!

It was a small joint but the cashier has a warm and bright smile and you can’t help but to smile back Anyway I was skeptical at first because the food are so cheap, I thought the menus on gmaps aren’t up to date, and when I came the price is slighlty different from the photos on gmaps but still so cheap. I ordered the chicken lo mein and it was THE MOST FLAVORFUL Io mein I have ever tasted so far in NY 😋 will definitely be my go to place whenever I visit Coney Island. Next time I’m gonna try t

Im not a picky person but im sorry to say a simple 4 wings shrimp fried rice was horrible...the rice seemed to be leftover with a soft hard consistency and the chicken taste like it had absorbed a smell from another food. But overall the lady was nice.

This is a full service restaurant with a wide variety of menu items with the specialties of BBQ and Congee dishes, we love the variety and lunch specials for less than $10 , this is a must try, large portions and Cantonese dishes that are satisfying and tasty. My favorite steamed buns place. I’ve tried several bun shops in Flushing, and Yang Dong Jia is still my favorite. The buns are a great value—6 for only $5. I especially recommend the chive & egg and lamb buns. The chive filling tastes fresh, with tiny dried shrimp adding extra flavor, and the bun skin is soft, fluffy, and delicious. I usually pair the buns with a bowl of lamb soup, and it’s a satisfying meal. Dine-in also comes with complimentary pickled vegetables and shredded potatoes, which a

Absolutely loved this place! 🥟 The buns here are amazing — juicy, flavorful, and super affordable. Each basket comes with six buns, basically $1 each, which is unbelievable for NYC! The spicy beef bun was my favorite, full of rich flavor and heat. The soy milk drinks were also refreshing, especially the Tieguanyin one. The shop is clean, bright, and cozy — perfect for a quick, tasty meal in Flushing. Highly recommend!

The best part of this place is that it's 24 hours. I haven't had any of the breakfast items, but the soups and rice dishes are exceptional. Everything is fresh and made to order. The service is fast. They have a "big bowl" option for the soups and it's enough to feed two people. Portions are great for the price you're paying. Guarantee you won't have to spend more than $20 for a great meal and a drink, that's unlimited refills. Unless you get dessert. The mango shaved ice is one of the best I've

Juicy King Crab Express is a great choice if you are looking to enjoy flavorful seafood boils without the formal sit-down restaurant wait. The seasoning options have a nice, savory kick to them, and the seafood blends perfectly with the corn and potatoes in the bag. The ordering process is fast and efficient, making it incredibly easy to grab a premium meal to take home. It provides a solid balance of generous portions and rich flavors for anyone wanting a quick seafood treat.

Number one kitchen not the greatest restaurant in the hood. Prices are a little high. And the food is sometimes good sometimes bad. Also some of the staff will try to cheat you on the price by raising it a quarter or 50 Cent higher than the menu price.. two staff members are very rude. And there's no free delivery they always charge you a dollar or two to deliver even if your under 3 miles away.

This establishment is disgusting. From the customer service to the food. We just purchased $70 worth of food found bugs in our food and asked for a refund for only 2 of the orders. They send a rude delivery man (that we tipped) who looks at both orders and say we can’t get a refund because we ate from it. As if it was our fault that we didn’t look for bugs before eating our food. I will be calling the health department everyday !

I only eat so much Chinese food. It’s really sad the quality of food that comes out of here. I ordered Sesame Chicken with shrimp fried rice. Then when I got home ready to load my plate with food. We ordered the Shrimp & Mixed Vegetable Omelette, Chicken Wings with Fries, French toast with condensed milk and peanut butter, Beef Chow Fun, and 2 drinks. The chicken wings and fries were both crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—definitely satisfying and well-cooked. The omelette was alright, but the filling itself was flavorful

I kept hearing great things about this NYC restaurant with the unlikely name of Ha’s Snack Bar. So I managed to line up outside the tiny spot at 4:45PM on a Wednesday afternoon in late March, and snagged a seat at the counter when the doors opened at 5:30PM. One of my favorite places for authentic Korean-Chinese cuisine in Flushing. The charcoal-grilled lamb skewers are always fresh and flavorful, the seasoned pollock and spicy chicken feet are classic, and the goat hot pot with their homemade tofu is a must-try. I’ve ordered from Golden Phoenix in the Bronx a few times now and they’ve been consistently solid. The food is always fresh, hot, and flavorful.
