⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was driving by and came across this wood-oven pizza spot, so I decided to stop in—and I’m glad I did. I ordered a small regular pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust had that perfect wood-fired flavor, the sauce was fresh and rich, and the cheese melted beautifully. The place itself is nicely decorated, clean, and well organized, which made the experience even better. The service was great too—the waiter was professional, friendly, and the wait time was very reasonable

My gf recommended this place and frankly she was right in her assessment. She had previously brought me chicken soup which was amazing and this sweet potato soufflé dessert. Determined to duplicate this dessert propelled me to stop by. I found the service super friendly and accommodating. Granted it was a weekday afternoon, so not swamped at that time. It’s my first time at Pasta Night and it did not disappoint! We started with a beautiful salad that had asparagus, snap peas, and fennel. I ordered mushroom pappardelle pasta, also 10/10! Stayed for dessert, a fun brownie pistachio ice cream sundae and rainbow cookies. Great service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I recently ordered a few pasta dishes to go, and everything was absolutely delicious. The seafood linguine was the standout—my whole family loved it so much that it disappeared within minutes! I also really appreciate that they use foil containers for takeout instead of plastic. I don’t usually write reviews, but I came across La Bottiglia Italian Restaurant through Groupon and decided to give it a shot after reading some positive feedback. I’m really glad I did. The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and the pricing felt fair for both the quality and quantity. It’s always a great feeling to discover a spot like this—I’ll definitely be coming back. Thursday is Steak night, definitely the rib eye steak & tomahawk special.

After a week in New York, I finally found a place serving a truly delicious bowl of oatmeal! I had a large, warm bowl topped with banana, blueberries, and honey. It was exactly what I had been craving — comforting, filling, and absolutely delicious. Chris ordered an egg and avocado sandwich, but after tasting my oatmeal, he ended up ordering a bowl for himself as well! That says it all. Just picked up a vegan pie from this location yesterday. It was absolutely delicious!! I’ve been ordering from other locations of Due Fratelli for over a decade, long before I went vegan, and I’m so happy to see that their pizza is still top notch. They have the most perfect crust, it’s crispy and chewy, great sauce, and their vegan cheese is really tasty! Really happy I can still eat here, thank you for having a vegan option!! Visited this Italian restaurant in astoria, inside look like a local italian cafeteria to my point of view, tho the service that day was great, very friendly the server. Food was delish, orden penne a la vodka and chicken parmigiana both flavor were amazingly tasty. The only think I didn’t like was one of the eater was vaping at the end and was little uncomfortable. Everything else was good. I would come again.

Living across the street, I always passed by this place but never came in, and I regret we did in the end. There is not one Italian working in this Italian-wanna-be restaurant. Our server was arrogant from the moment we stepped in. No wine list as someone has mentioned, just a question - white or red. We asked to try their wine as there was no wine menu. After having a few glasses and our food (which was very mediocre, by the way), we decided to get another glass of wine and also asked to taste

Nice atmosphere, wonderful service, food wise some hits and some misses. Fried zucchini and calamari were very good, crispy and not greasy. The texture of the pasta itself was good, but shrimp oreganata needed a bit more flavor as did the bolognese sauce.

Apparently online I was looking at a menu from 7 years ago so Layla Jones wasn’t as cheap as I thought it would be. They also had some lunch specials on a board with the price erased so the transparency is not incredible here. Even so $13.50 for a generous sized meatball sandwich, salad, and drink is a pretty good value. The sandwich was tasty, arguably even better reheated in the air fryer.

We've walked by Cello many times so happy to finally had a chance to go for dinner. The host and hostess took great care of us, letting us sample wines until we picked just the right bottle. The cheese plate was generous and delicious and we highly recommend the flatbreads which were amazing. The atmosphere and vibe was warm and inviting. A great spot to catch up with friends over drinks or date night for dinner. We highly recommend it and we will be going back very soon!

Dinner with friends at DOUGH by Licastri in Silver Lake, Staten Island, highly touted for their pizza. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered their version of a Sicilian sfincione, which is one of my top 3 pizzas to order. It’s a specialty pizza, not commonly found in most pizzerias. My friends ordered regular dinner food, however, which looked fantastic - so if I go back, that’s what I’ll do. It’s a fun lively atmosphere inside. The service was great.

This is not a restaurant, but a take out place. They have seating available for only 2 people. With that said - it was wonderful to sit there and see, hear and smell the kitchen. I had the Ragu and it was delicious! The pasta was very good and fresh.

This place is a local gem! We have a college NYC reunion every year, and they are always able to accommodate a large group for us, and on relatively short notice. It’s been a while since I’ve had a memorable meal in the city. The new trend seems to be about doing classic dishes really well with the smallest twist and this place accomplishes that so well! Also I was surprised to find Mondays are half off wine bottles which really kicked the evening off well. Everything was delicious but the stars for us were the arancini salad and chicken Parmesan! Also don’t skip the onion rings, the sauce really was special!

I’m giving it four stars because for 10 dollars it was a large cup of pasta and the service was really nice, extra friendly considering the large crowd on a Friday night. The gnocchi pesto pasta was tasty. Large pieces of gnocchi. Some smaller pieces of chicken. Satisfying. Bae and I split a cup. I think we will come back and try another pasta flavor. Most people were getting ice cream. I guess that’s a crowd favorite.

Great spot! The tomato and chicken corn soups are amazing. The meat (beef, turkey, and pork) is super tasty—you can get it in a sandwich or on a plate. You’ll see it all fresh behind the glass to the left of the register. Highly recommend!

I liked the sandwiches we got, they had full of flavor: il sole and gothamist. I really liked the bread as it felt fresh. One problem is the price, the sandwich is almost $20 and is not big enough to save for second portion later. The wait wasn’t that long but definitely around 10 minutes. There is a seating area but it’s almost always packed. At the end I recommend this place if you are willing to try something good on the more expensive side compared to other places in the station.

As one of 82nd best kept secrets, the food is amazing and the restaurant feels extremely modern and upscale inside. The chef is not scared to take risks and they pay off, with immensely flavorful food that uses high quality ingredients. I really hate doing this because I had a great experience the first time I ate here. Unfortunately, this time was completely different. The girl who answered the phone was rude, and the food looked like it was tossed carelessly into the bag. The margarita pizza was far from what a true margarita pizza should be. On the night the food was incredible, everyone keeps telling me how good the food was. The staff on the night were so lovely and fun. And the wine is delicious, great selection.
