Delicious meal at this lovely restaurant with my parents. The service was impeccable and the food even better. We started with the octopus appetizer and the beet salad. For our entrees we go the pasta with short rib ragù, pasta with lamb ragù, creamy pasta with truffle, and the chef’s special ravioli. For dessert we got the pistachio tart, crème brûlée, and tiramisu. The tart was the star of the show (pistachios are very commonly used in Sicily and a must try in sweet and savory dishes. Overall,

We love eating at Gemma! Food was tasty. We ordered Kale salad and pizza (salad was nicely garnished) and pizza thin as we like. Atmosphere calm on a Sunday afternoon (just what we wanted).

Northern Italian mainstay with an intimate, old-world-inspired dining room & an attached wine bar.
Visited for a birthday dinner and the food, atmosphere and service were all great 🎉. Tasted a few wines to find one that was perfect - great waitress insisted we try a few. Appetizers of burrata and the roasted calamari (both fantastic), sampled multiple pastas and then a trio of desserts - the pear cake with chocolate was such a wonderful surprise and nice way to wrap up the evening. Will be back!

Hip, bi-level spot featuring Italian-accented New American fare and wine.
The restaurant was lively yet very classy. There was a background tune of (likely) 90’s hip hop which played to the small Run-DMC details. A unique and fun mix of the American/Italian cuisine. The service was great and the manager was very welcoming. We’ll be back in the summer for their outdoor seating. Starters: -The complimentary focaccia was fantastic. I wish they sold it by the tray! -Beet salad was great and dressing was flavorful. -Fork & knife salad was fairly standard in my opinion. Ot

Very solid pizza. Coming from Europe, it felt like a good mix between a local and Italian pizza. The highlight was eating in the cozy location while watching the subway pass nearby, which felt like a quintessential New York experience. For the pizza itself, I would have liked more mozzarella for my taste. Service was great.

Neighborhood Italian spot for wood-fired pies by a pizzaiolo from Naples, plus panini & antipasti.
What a great dining experience. Staff were very welcoming and the restaurant had a great vibe. The pasta had an amazing texture and was accompanied by generous portion of sea food. The pizza was fresh straight out of brick oven. I appreciate the soft texture of cheese inside the crust. The price of the dishes were very reasonable.

This is a hip little rooftop bar with great views, strong unique drinks and great small bites. Service is quick and friendly. I recommend making a reservation if you want to sit. The tables fill up fast in the evening for happy hour. Tuna tacos, guacamole and Flatbread were all well prepared and delicious. Cocktails have fresh juice and allow you to select your preferred liquor. This has become a favorite place to wind down at the end of a busy day!

will start off by saying that I wish that I can give more than 5 stars. This restaurant is conveniently located at crossbay blvd. An amazing area and near transportation. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the valet and walked into a very warm welcome by the staff. They were very hospitable and accommodating. Small place, very minimal decor, simple, clean. We sat at bar. Good service. The asparagus salad was delicious. Bread service came with a charge and was OK, came out warm but tasted doughy and almost underbaked. The fried potato appetizer was flavorless and very dry. The cacio e Pepe pasta was very good and came out piping hot! My son did not care for the lasagna. He said it was dry and he didn’t like how the meat was. It felt very hit or miss. One of the best meals I've ever had. I love broccoli rabe and this place served it up in a way that far exceeded anything I've ever had. Same goes for the caponata. The Orichiette and Salisicchia was plainly outstanding. It was so unbelievably good. Service staff was very friendly and inviting. The food here is simply delicious. My husband chose one of the dinner specials. It was chicken in a light gravy with garlic, mashed potatoes and roasted brussels sprouts. Sounds simple yes? But trust me it was elevated to the next level. The chicken was so tender, and the gravy was indeed light and reminiscent of a wonderful chicken gravy that we enjoyed on our cruise last summer. The atmosphere is really nice, service was attentive, and the cocktails were very well done. The only downside for us was the carbonara. It had shallots or diced onion in it, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. That caught us off guard since it’s not typical for this dish.
