Cozy West Village spot serving small plates alongside cocktails & wine produced by female vintners.
I went to this restaurant back in May with a small group of friends only to find when we were going through receipts that I was charged twice for a pizza. I've called in a number of times trying to get a refund for the singular pizza, but I keep getting the "we'll get back to you" response. I don't live in the area and I shouldn't have to pay for something I never recieved. It's truly terrible customer service to not be getting money back when I've notified the restaurant multiple times. Make su

The food was amazing and the service was beyond! Honestly, the service was an experience. I have never felt so welcomed in a restaurant in my life. Our server Jose was the best server I’ve ever had. He helped us understand the menu and was extremely gracious and patient when our meal time exceeded their hours. There was a deep care and professionalism in his service. He is a gem! We will definitely be back again and I can’t praise the experience enough!

What a wonderful dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with every bite full of flavor and beautifully presented. The charcuterie selection was fresh and high quality, and the drinks were perfectly crafted, refreshing, and expertly balanced. What truly made our visit special was the outstanding service from Leo and Ornela. They were attentive, friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Swanky bar and eatery at the Bernic Hotel with an old-world vibe and traditional Northern Italian entrees.
Two weeks ago I visited New York and made it a priority to try some restaurants, especially Italian cuisine, which I’ve always loved. A friend recommended Allora, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. The wine list is impressive, and the food was outstanding. I ordered the filet mignon with a Hawaiian prawn on top — the steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care in the preparation. I had a glass of Amarone della Valpolice

Gabriel’s Restaurant near Central Park was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The food really stood out — the beef dish was perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor, and the tagliatelle pasta was just as impressive, fresh and beautifully prepared. What truly elevated the evening, though, was the service. The host was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed a verde gimlet and summer sour along with arancini, mafalde al limone, fusilli al ferretto, pappardelle salsiccia, and a torta cioccolato e nocciola. Everything was great but we particularly enjoyed the arancini (the tartar sauce was different but so good), mafalde al limone, and of course the dessert. Pretty good options for vegetarians. Atmosphere was nice too, just a little loud but we assume this is par for the course. Great service from Stephany.

I had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Ramerino Italian Prime Restaurant. Everything was truly exceptional. We started with the steak tartare and it was delicious, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The cacio e pepe was fantastic, very authentic and beautifully balanced. AMAZING experience. Albunio served us and was an absolutely amazing waiter. We had the best time here for a birthday dinner and got complimentary ice cream in addition to our dessert of choice. Noise and volume was great, vibes were wonderful, it was 10/10. Loved the carbonara - highly recommend. Also the ICE CREAM is insane (I think orange infused) - delicious.

Absolutely loved this place. It has everything you want from a classic New York pizza spot: charm, character, and seriously great pizza. The location on Houston Street gives it that authentic Manhattan feel, and the atmosphere is warm, lively, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The coal-oven pizza was the highlight. The crust was thin, crisp, and perfectly cooked, with a great balance of sauce and cheese. Every bite tasted fresh, flavorful, and exactly like what you hope for when you’re

I was there December 21, 2021 and went with my friends and no one had made reservations to have dinner. We called this restaurant and they gladly took us in. It was good food great service we had shrimp and pasta, chicken and pasta in lasagna in the Calamar, but I hear the pizza it’s phenomenal. We didn’t have it though. Getting a table at Rao's is harder than closing a deal in Midtown Manhattan. You do not make a reservation you know someone who has a table and they invite you. That is it. No website booking, no OpenTable, no walking in off the street. And once you understand that you understand everything about this place. It is not a restaurant it is a family. I’ve been to Millie’s a number of times, and I have to be honest—it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always laid-back, making it a great place to grab a drink or settle in for a good meal. They have an impressive tap list with a nice selection of craft beers. I always enjoy their house lager and IPA, and it’s great to see Two Roads on draft. It’s ALWAYS a good sign when you walk into a restaurant and everyone is speaking Italian. A weekend happy hour is also a plus! The food is spectacular (specifically the pesto pasta and quattro formaggi) and the staff is incredibly nice. The interior in dim and sexy while the patio is light and adorable, and the bar was perfect. Just before we left, a band was setting up for live music which i’m sure was amazing as well. I’ve lived in the area for 7 years and have always eaten at Ogawa and gone to Swift but never ate at the restaurants that occupied this space. Misirizzi is a hidden gem. Was in the mood for Italian and ended up at Mark’s Off Madison. Overall, it wasn’t bad. The eggplant parm wasn’t my favorite, but the lasagna was definitely solid and the standout of the meal. Not sure it quite lives up to all the hype I’ve seen, but for a midweek dinner out, it was perfectly decent.

We celebrated my cousin’s milestone birthday over a long, leisurely lunch at Villa Erasmo. We started with oysters Rockefeller and then we both had the chicken Madeira (with asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes in a Madeira wine sauce). For dessert, tiramisu. The bread on the table is also worth mentioning. The food and service were outstanding. I wish I lived closer!

This was one of my favorite dining experiences in NYC. I've been to many gluten-free friendly restaurants over the years, but it's rare to find a place that's 100% gluten-free, has such an extensive menu, and delivers on flavor across the board. You can tell there's a lot of experience and care behind every dish. I also loved that the menu clearly lists the ingredients, which makes choosing what to order so much easier. I had an amazing experience at Gersi. I took my dad for his birthday over the holidays and when we arrived, they have a “happy birthday” sign on the table. I finally dined at Ponte Vecchio for a wedding luncheon and it was a beautiful luncheon. The room was ready well before everyone arrive and they immediately started pouring wine upon arrival. My only complaint is that seating seems to be a bit tight for larger groups (they had 10 people at an 8' rectangle) so something to consider. The food is phenomenal, as is the bread, a big deal! :)

Classic Upper West Side bar with a lot going for it, including location. It’s just a block from The Dakota, and it carries that same old New York feel. The atmosphere is the standout. A decent place for Italian! The only thing that caught us off guard was the pumpkin soup, which was really good but it was a special and we forgot to ask for the price.
