I came here for lunch on a Saturday at 12:30 to celebrate an anniversary and it was an incredible dining experience. This has always been on my list but I knew I wanted to save it for a special occasion. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere started out intimate and quiet since they open at noon. But at 1 pm it became more packed and lively. The food was delicious! Make sure you save room for dessert. The restaurant week menus is 3 course for $45 per person. The portion size is big and food is tasty. For starters we had the salmon fritters, arugula salad; for main we got the branzino and chicken Marsala, both are very good. For dessert there are just two choices: chocolate brownie ice cream or strawberry sorbet. We got both and if you mix the two the flavors are more balanced. Great service as well.

Absolutely loved this place! Next dish was spicy vodka dish was the best!! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting. Really just good for the views. You can see St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Radio City Music Hall sign, which is definitely the highlight of the experience. Our waiter didn’t seem very engaged, and when he deboned my friend’s fish, there were still bones left behind. Not sure if I can say enough great things about the Marina Cafe! I have been here at least 10 times over the past couple of years and each time I have an excellent experience! Each meal starts off with hot bread and crackers with butter and olive oil. For our appetizers we typically rotate between baked clams, fried calamari, meatballs, and the salad. All of the apps are fantastic and my personal favorite is the baked clams! We have tried a decent amount of the entree at this point as well.

The world in general is a rough place, and Brooklyn is just as rough. But it’s made all the better by the likes of Gargiulo’s. I had their Caesar salad and risotto. And to put it simply, it was all authentic in an age of authenticity. And our server was also a really cool cat. I don’t know if I’ll ever end up in Coney Island again, but if I do, I wouldn’t mind making another trip to Gargiulo’s for some authentic Italian food and friendly service.

The main detractor for the atmosphere was the fact that we were seated next to a loud party, although of course that isn’t the restaurant’s fault but does reflect the space constraints. We went the whole family on a rainy Saturday in the city. We looked in Google and we find the place and we said let's go. And I have to say everybody were happy the food was great the atmosphere was great all the people there taking care of you and making sure that you're having fun and enjoying your food. We had an amazing experience in Cipriani Las Vegas where we had our wedding lunch in 2023, so we decided to try Cipriani Downtown when we moved in Manhattan last year. Yesterday was the second time in this location and I would like to say thanks to Fabio which is the manager there. He was so kind with us since the first moment. Everything was perfect.
