I feel like Mexican is on of the very few genres of food NYC doesnt do amazingly but this place is so damn good. The churrasco was unreal and not insanely expensive. We had 4 entrees and queso and it came to around $30 a person and everything was great.

I really enjoyed my tacos, the chicken was tender and moist. Prices are very afordable and portion was comparable to the price. It is cash only (that was the only downside I had to walk down the street to a Bodega to get cash). I will definitely come by again when I'm in the area. Staff is friendly as well.

The food here is very good and flavorful, everything is fresh and ready so you can get in and out if you're on your lunch break. My only complaint is I don't feel full on one scoop of meat, but I also don't want to pay $20 on lunch after adding the guac with 2 scoops of meat. On a side note I ordered online once, I got the surf and turf performance bowl and I added a scoop of chicken. So I should have had shrimp, steak and chicken in the bowl, I only received chicken. The food is amazing! My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick bite and this spot looked convenient, but the tacos were a lot better than we had expected! The thin fries on top, the big serving size, we got a taco de bistec and the tortillas were handmade and everything was so fresh. Definitely coming back here

10/10 across the board. I went to Westwood Bar about a week ago with a friend and honestly? No notes. The food was amazing, like actually delish, not just “good.” The service was insanely good, everyone working there was a literal ray of sunshine, and the drinks were top-tier, done right, no misses. Service was pretty bad, my waitress was constantly on her phone the entire time. It’s like she was paid to text on her phone, I had to physically go up to her and ask her for a menu because she could not be bothered to look up long enough to see me try to gesture for her attention. There was an automatic tip added due to the size of the party I was with but I honestly hope the cooks get that, she deserved no tip. Also my partner saw her go to the bathroom and it seemed she was hiding in there wi

The place is clean, peaceful, and offers a great variety of delicious food. It’s a nice spot to sit down and enjoy your meal comfortably. Unfortunately, the customer service could be improved. The person who attended me was not attentive or friendly, which affected the overall experience a bit. Other than that, everything was very good. Came here for Cinco de Mayo and had an amazing experience! I was surprised by how many places weren't really participating in the holiday, but Anita Cuisine definitely came through. The music was great and the vibes were on point. We ordered the taco platter for $45, and it was absolutely worth it—great quality and easily fed four of us. To top it off, we got to meet the owner, who was so nice and kept checking in on our table to ensure we were taken care of. There are still so many drinks and d

This place was truly laughable. The server didn’t know the items well enough to make them so she kept looking up the menu board to read the ingredients as she made them. More importantly, the food was awful. Chicken and steak were both incredibly dry and taco shells were incredibly greasy. Unless one is separate at 2am, this is not a place to go.

A very casual place to dine in! We went at lunchtime on a weekend, and the restaurant was very busy since they only had one staff member taking care of the customers (but he did a very, very great job!). The whole experience was amazing for me, from the friendly service to the tasty food. My husband and I ordered 7 tacos and 1 al pastor platter. We thought we could finish everything, but we were soooo full that we couldn't finish the platter. I'll give my MVP to the beef tongue taco, which

I tried Chinelos II, a Mexican restaurant right downstairs for me, and opted for takeout. I’ve had a Quesadilla last night to try them out and it was so satisfying that I had to go back tonight. I had the “Pollo Burrito” (chicken burrito) and the “Campechano Chimichanga” with steak and Mexican sausage. Oh boy! Let me tell you, the chimichanga was out of this world! Packed with flavor, it was a mouthwatering, savory delight. I want to have another one right away! So good! The chicken burrito had

Not bad for east coast Mexican food. I’m a bit jaded by my west coast roots so having to pay for chips and salsa felt wrong to me but the flavors were there even if the traditional experience was not. I got the enchiladas, we shared a side of black beans and my coworker got their chicken burrito. All came out quick and fresh. I’d classify this as up scale Mexican food. With beautifully plated dishes and deep thoughtful flavors. Probably a fun place to a margarita in the summer months.

Handmade heaven!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Quesadilla de bistec with the works ( lettuce, sour cream, avocado) is THE way to go! Introverts beware, though; you may need to be assertive and speak up to order, don't expect a "may I help you." Don't worry, you could wash your anxiety down with a variety selection of Mexican beers while you wait, definitely worth it. 👌👌👌

I recently visited Puya Tacos de Puebla with my daughter, we strive to give companies 5 stars, but are just unable to do so here. To be transparent this is more of a 2.5 stars not 3 but unable to give a half of a star. The setup feels more like a fast-food environment, and I will say the service was quick and efficient—we were helped almost immediately upon arriving, which was a plus. That said, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations, especially for the price. I ordered two birria tacos

One thing about uptown, you’re always going to find little spots with food that stays in your memory years later 😭🍴 I still had videos from this meal sitting in my phone because the tortilla bowl, chicken, and sauces were THAT good. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and comforting. The atmosphere felt casual and welcoming, the portions were good, and it gave the kind of neighborhood food spot energy that makes you want to come back again. I was very disappointed with this order. The price was extremely high for the amount of food that was served. Even though the meal came on two separate plates, the portions were surprisingly small and nowhere near what I would expect for the cost. The presentation may have looked decent, but the quantity did not justify the price at all. For what I paid, I expected much larger portions and better overall value. If you're charging this much, customers should not leave feeling hungry or questionin

Will never order from this place again. One of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve ever ordered from. I ordered tres leches, guacamole and chips, and a steak burrito. The tres leches was frozen, the guacamole wasn’t made they just gave me avacado, the chips look were broken into pieces and they barely gave me chips for the “guacamole” (just sliced avocado),and the steak burrito wasn’t giving a Mexican burrito at all. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Terrible service. Zero stars. Not recommended. It is not clean to eat here. The food was delicious! I’d recommend the Arroz con Pollo. It’s simple, yet packed with flavor. The chicken was tender and pulled apart easily. The yellow rice is seasoned well and loaded with vegetables. I’d prefer fresher vegetables, but it was still good. My friend wasn’t too fond of their pork chops or ribs, but loved the chicken; stick to chicken or steak here.

I bought a beef stew in a big container and paid $22.00. I started eating and the beef taste not good and taste like it’s past due. I called to complain and the lady says I am the first customer who complained and couldn’t do anything. I asked if she can tell who is serving but she refused. I will not buy in this store again. These are some really great burritos. No rice, very meaty, and just really satisfying. Without any fillers, each bite is massively flavorful and rich. It’s a different style and experience for sure, and this might not be everyone’s preference! That said the spices are excellent, the tortilla fantastic and fresh, and the salsa creamy, smokey, and spicy. I came to this restaurant wanting to support the community. I ordered the big pozole, which was listed at $15.00 on the menu but when the bill came, it was $17.50 (19.05 adding taxes). The medium was listed at $11.50 but actually costs $15.00. They don't tell you the menu prices are outdated, which feels dishonest. On 01/23/26, I went with my friend and we ordered 2 tacos each. We waited over 30 mins. We asked what was the status of the order a total of 3 times. On the 4th follow-up, we inquired about the long wait. The hostess finally said she made a mistake by giving our orders away, and didn’t provide an apology. When we asked the owner of the establishment what we would receive for the inconvenience, no respond or follow-up was given. This was worse experience ever. Do NOT go here.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) I usually never leave bad reviews for places, but this experience was bad enough that I had to say something. My girl and I stopped by around 10 PM on a Friday night to grab a late dinner after working all day and were looking forward to a good meal. Instead, we were met with staff that were rude, unwelcoming, and honestly disgusting in their demeanor. They literally stare at you while serving and give you barely one scoop of chicken. After departing Lenox Hill MRI I began my search for breakfast. I could not walk far and didn't want to use transit so I just walked one block over and saw this Adobo Mexican Grill, and it looked very appealing by the restaurants name emblazoned on the front of the building. Stepping inside of Adobo Mexican Grill it was more lavish than one would think. This is a quick order, dine-in, or take out. I'd eat here before I go back to Q-Doba. ( I just threw a jab). Unfortunately my food experiences have been extremely unpleasant. Today i had gotten an order of gorditas and they were extremely dry i almost choked. It was very bland and very hard. Then another two times i had gotten enchiladas verde de pollo and as they weren’t so bad however there was literally no type of sauce on the enchiladas knowing they come with some decent amount of sauce . Overall in my personal experience i didn’t necessarily like the food.

I don't think we agree on what a quesadilla is. Typically, quesadillas have cheese in them. Not on them. I have ordered from this place twice and both times the quesadillas are basically unrolled burritos covered in cheese and sour cream. I never experienced a place that insists on filling the "quesadilla" with rice and beans, and no cheese. Twice, no less. Yikes. PS— in store the default tip is 22%, so if you decide to go, make sure you don't tip $7 on a $27 order — $13 of which are a quesadil

This is my preferred taco spot in the area since my favorite closed. The service is very straightforward and efficient. Their priority is getting you your food promptly. I think it's pretty good! The line was short but people were ordering a lot of items so I'm definitely curious. They have a lot of options, a combo of Chipotle and Dos Toros but no farro. My first order: brown rice, peppers and onions, pinto beans, spicy chicken, corn, pickled onions, tortilla chips, white cheese, lime, cilantro with hot spicy mama sauce. Pretty spicy (7/10) and overall more flavorful than Chipotle (per a Chipotle fan). Can't wait to try the tacos!
