My son wanted to try this place he heard was great on social media. Its located in China town, NYC. Small space with limted seating. We sampled a cheese slice and a pepperoni slice. The crust was crispy and light, but needed more sauce. Cheese was ok. Nothing impressive or unique that a special trip needs to be made here, but if in the atea and craving a slice, maybe try it, but so many other options are available.

Self-served warm brewed tea and lemon-infused water. Kitchen did not read ticket properly. We ordered boiled dumplings but got pan-fried instead. Staff is super friendly so I’m sure they would not have hesitated to make it right. We decided to try the pan-fried. The food is average but I give this restaurant a 4 for their hospitality!

Love the comfort Cantonese food. The wontons are pretty good (meat heavy and thin layer of dough). Dishes were flavorful and big portions. My fav was def the fried wonton. Service was great and fast.

We recently visited the new coffee shop Rule 257 and overall had a really nice experience. The ambience is amazing — the space is full of small, cute details that make it feel very thoughtful and cozy. The interior design is well done, and the downstairs area adds a really cool extra dimension to the place. They also have nice merch available and host different master classes and occasional wine tastings, which makes the concept feel more community-oriented and interesting. The barista was very

What an establishment. This woman is slinging some greattt treats completely on her own. The line moves slow, and she won’t let you make any customizations. The mochi waffle is HUGE (I’d recommend sharing) and veryyy full with toppings. I loved the peanut butter pandan one. They take cash and card. Cash preferred. Menu rotates weekly.

Food was quite good — tuna and dates, comte tarte were the stars of the show! The trout and stone fruit salad were also very delicious. The service was very disappointing. The hostess, waitress, and somm were all abrasive. My friends and I have never dined at a Michelin star restaurant with such staff. The space was overall beautiful. Given my overall experience, I would not come back to this restaurant again.

Counter service pizzeria with an array of classic & creative pizzas by-the-slice or pie for takeout.
I visited this place on June 30, 2026. I only wanted one slice of pizza but next thing you know the key was upselling me two slices. I only wanted one and he claimed he would give me a free soda. The sign outside said $7.99 for two slices and a soda. I gave him a $1 tip. Lo and behold I look at my bank statement and he has charged me $23.41. The charge should have been $9.68 with the tip included. I was a tourist and was cheated. I did not ask for the receipt so that is my mistake. The pizza w

Excellent egg tarts (dan tat) and dim sum fried pork dumplings (ham sui gok). We had these for breakfast. The egg tart has some of the best custard filling I’ve ever had. The ham sui gok (aka dim sum football dumplings) were crispy and chewy and were really big.

Golden Shanghai is a solid spot in Chinatown if you're looking for a quick, satisfying meal. The decor has a cool old-school vibe that feels straight out of a classic Chinese kung fu movie—nothing fancy, but it definitely has character. Service was good and efficient. I ordered the beef with broccoli over white rice, and it was a generous, filling portion that hit the spot. The bathrooms were also clean, which is always a nice plus. had a great dinner. the space is intimate and cozy. really enjoyed the conversations i had with some of the other patrons. it definitely is expensive for korean food compared to what you can find in ktown or queens but sunn’s does a bit of a modern take on it. we tried hwe (my fave dish of the night), endive salad, banchan (garlic shoots stood out), dumplings (great flavor), ssam (tasty), and honey cake.

I am so glad that I happened to see this place on the map! I popped in and was immediately greeted by the most beautiful and bubbly staff member. I only wish I had asked their name because they were just so lovely. Very knowledgeable about the products and you could tell they were passionate about them too. Pretty good overall, but the food could be better. Unfortunately, I can tell that the food has been pre-prepared way ahead of time. I wish I could say I loved it, but I can't. Cute concept - great topping flavors, combining the ideas of boba and ice cream...but a few things keep Strawberry Home from being on my future rotation. First, the quality of the ice cream is just subpar for my taste. It's too icy and gives cheap. Second, there is only one flavor of ice cream: vanilla. The options come in the toppings (which were very good by the way). Third, the place is way too small. Luckily, no one was in there so I could si

Such a fun little omakase spot. Much more chill and laid-back than a lot of the omakase restaurants around the city, but the quality is definitely there. The fish was very fresh, and I especially liked that they included a few things you don’t see all that often, like monkfish liver and milt. Those kinds of touches made the experience feel a bit more interesting than your typical omakase. On top of that, they offer complimentary sake during the meal, which makes it an even better value. My first experience at D. Salam surly wii not be my last. I had an amazing and meaningful experience especially to find out that the woman who prepared the meals prepared them on her own for the day and although there were supposed to be other cooks to help her out there she'd been the only one to take on the responsibility. I enjoyed the music selection while waiting on my meal to be prepared. I also had the opportunity to watch the one coworker that did attend prepare Sorel for the fridge and

We were at Sake Con the week before and someone recommended this as their go-to for traditional sushi. We all know there's a glut of omakase spots in NYC and we've tried a few. They were good, but this is the first time I felt genuinely transported. Yes, it's the old Scarr's Pizza space, but the transformation is remarkable. It feels like stumbling into a beloved neighborhood bar that's been lived in for decades: tchotchkes on the wall, cute dioramas and book nooks, Japanese newspaper clippings,

The tofu pudding was SO soft and silken but the sesame paste was too sweet, and there wasn't enough tofu to balance it out. I would prob try it again just with ginger. The tofu itself is probably the best I've had in NYC.

((4.25 stars)) Pizza Cafe is very much a neighborhood pizza joint that caters to residents and the frequent visitors to the Dimes Square area that don't partake in Scarr's. while the space is pretty small only a few seats inside and a couple on the bench outside...the pizza is good and does its job which is to extinguish the "hanger" with enjoyable calories. there's a variety of square and round pies served here...almost too many imo—plus beef patties and other side items like wings. stopped he

We made a trip out here specifically to try their famous pork buns, but unfortunately, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The Food: The pork buns themselves were just okay. They weren't bad, but given the reputation, they definitely didn't live up to the hype. The Atmosphere: The storefront and inside of the shop look pretty dirty and intimidating, which doesn't give you the best feeling when you're ordering food. A hidden gem for authentic Hong Kong-style breads! Tried their pineapple buns (波蘿包)and steamed rice roll (叉燒腸加蛋). The bun was fluffy, flavorful, and baked with clear expertise. The real star was the Hong Kong milk tea: rich tea aroma blended smoothly! Also spotted many customers ordering the steamed rice rolls with dried shrimp (蝦米腸)– looked amazing, definitely my next try! The shop is cozy, service is warm, and everything is reasonably priced. Already planning my next visit!

Going for Fuzhou dumpling. Its cheap and tasty. Cost only 5-6$. The fried dumpling is very good with generous fillings and crisp skin. The xiaolongbao (bun) isnt xiao (small in mandarin language) its more like a bun. Its big but tasty. Mixed with the sauce, it gave a unique taste and experience.

This place is amazing! As soon as you enter, there are so many different Asian places to order from, with so much variety. I ended up going with a stand called Bei Fang and ordered the stir-fried noodles with beef (I asked for extra spice). I also went to the dim sum stand and ordered some custard buns, and might I say, both dishes did not disappoint.
