Delectable 🔥🔥🔥modern sichuanese food in NYC. Got the mala peanuts. So simple yet sooo yum. Great as a drinking accompaniment. The dry pot is the star! I recommend that you make your own- I got emoki, lotus root, woodear mushroom, napa and lamb. I really love the numbing spice. The service was friendly. The place is quaint and a good vibe. Warm venue for elevated Chinese cuisine including Longjing shrimp, braised pork belly, and smoked fish.
Celebrated a friend’s birthday at CheLi, and I absolutely loved it. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I had stepped into one of the Chinese dramas I love watching. Every corner of the restaurant is beautifully designed and creates such a unique atmosphere. The food was delicious, but the Gold Soft Shell Crab was definitely my favorite—crispy, flavorful, and a must-order. A big thank you to Amber and Victoria for the warm and attentive service. It's a burger joint. No frills. Basic burger joint. I've been wanting to try it cause I love burgers!!! The burger was hefty and satisfying. The steak fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. If you just crave a basic but hefty burger and fries. This place hits the spot.🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 Good fair prices. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the entire world! I always try to explore new restaurants when i’m in the city, but this is a multiple repeat exception. The food is insanely delicious & consistent every single time. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, there is not ONE thing that isn’t good! The atmosphere is cozy and the hospitality is always outstanding! Cristal was so so lovely, & the rest of the staff is always extremely attentive & hospitable as well :) I find myself CR

Udon specialist offering noodle soups and other Japanese bites with a streamlined interior.
I had the Sansai Udon (wild mountain plants), and it was excellent. The broth was incredibly flavorful and subtle, just like what you’d find at a high-end udon house in Japan. The noodles had the perfect texture as well. It’s a very authentic spot, and I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for the real deal in NYC.

Moxy East Village hotel eatery serving French-Mediterranean plates in a dramatic dining room.
The Cathedrale is such a beautiful restaurant. The food, although pricey, was absolutely delicious, too. Depending on the occasion and seating available, I would definitely love to come back again. We had a reservation but did have to wait a bit to be seated. There was a table in the restaurant but it seemed like there would be too much foot traffic, so we decided to sit at the bar, closest to the dining area. Absolutely gorgeous meal. Classic and delicious. Best Italian food I’ve had in a long time! We had meatballs and garlic bread to start, ragu and chicken parm and spaghetti for main. The red wine recommended from our waiter was gorgeous too! And we took tiramisu and choc cheesecake to go because the portions are very generous and we were so full but we heard the table behind us shouting about how good the deserts were - and I can confirm he’s right. Chic eatery known for Shanghai-style xiao long bao soup dumplings with classic & creative fillings.
The bao is the best authentic Chinese restaurant in the city. The atmosphere is very warming and comforting. The food is delicious and comes out fast. My server Misty is very knowledgeable about the food and always recommends the best food on the menu. Along with the great conversation with her she’s a great addition to The Bao. I wish I was able to give this place 10 stars but unfortunately I can only do 5 stars.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a fantastic dinner at AQUARELLE NYC! Came here with friends and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The tartare trio and truffle flatbread were delicious starters, and the crusted branzino and seafood risotto were absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The caviar bombs with prosecco made the night extra fun, and the lava cake was the perfect sweet finish. Great service, beautiful ambiance, and a very special vibe. Highly r

this will always be one of my favorite old stomping grounds, were you always can get a nice cheap hot slice of pizza! Upon ordering the pizza, they put it in the oven to get warm and crispy, and was so fresh upon my order. They have options for garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. A lot of soda variety as well to your liking. This place will never go out of style, and have been coming here for years! 10/10 would highly recommend

Roomy hub featuring bespoke baked goods like pastries & cookies, plus indoor & outdoor seating.
One of the best bakeries in the city. I’m so glad I don’t live closer, I’d be there every day which would be bad for my health. The pistachio rose croissant is perfection. It gets a lot of attention, and rightly so, but don’t let it distract you from the rest of their offerings. Everything they bake is incredible, we also love the halva chocolate croissant and chocolate chip cookie are standouts. And they make a good cup of coffee to boot!

The restaurant was really good overall, and I honestly wish I had taken better pictures because it just didn’t do it justice. Of course, I had to start with some seafood, so we ordered the oysters and the Spanish octopus. Both were a great way to begin the meal, fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. We also had some filet mignon meatballs which were a nice addition to the appetizers and getting us ready for the rest of the meats. For our main meats, we chose the dry aged New York strip and the

Delicious dumplings! We stopped by on a Monday evening and only had about a 5-minute wait. They use a convenient QR code waitlist, which made things easy. We ordered the vegetable, crab, and signature pork soup dumplings. This was my first time seeing vegetable soup dumplings, and I was intrigued. A really great tea house with desserts! They used to have a lot of tea options but it looks like now it's limited. My favorite thing from the recent visit was the black sesame creme brulee! NYC has no shortage of Japanese restaurants, but the ones that really taste like Japan are few, and the ones that get the whole feel right on top of that, the Showa-era room, the service, all of it, you can count on one hand. Traditional ramen, tsukemen, Japanese small plates, and sake served in a cozy space.
TabeTomo is a ramen spot in the East Village with highly recommended ramen. The tonkotsu ramen is the anchor of the menu and the broth is the main event. It is deeply flavored, porky, and built for the kind of meal that actually keeps you full. The chashu is generous and the soft boiled egg is a worthy addition to the order. Nice place! My husband and I were missing Italy, so this brought us back! The sweetest service when you walk in from Pat with the Pink hat!!!! The food was absolutely incredible. The service was fast and the atmosphere was decorated beautifully.
