Delectable 🔥🔥🔥modern sichuanese food in NYC. Got the mala peanuts. So simple yet sooo yum. Great as a drinking accompaniment. The dry pot is the star! I recommend that you make your own- I got emoki, lotus root, woodear mushroom, napa and lamb. I really love the numbing spice. The service was friendly. The place is quaint and a good vibe. Celebrated a friend’s birthday at CheLi, and I absolutely loved it. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I had stepped into one of the Chinese dramas I love watching. Every corner of the restaurant is beautifully designed and creates such a unique atmosphere. The food was delicious, but the Gold Soft Shell Crab was definitely my favorite—crispy, flavorful, and a must-order. A big thank you to Amber and Victoria for the warm and attentive service. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the entire world! I always try to explore new restaurants when i’m in the city, but this is a multiple repeat exception. The bao is the best authentic Chinese restaurant in the city. The atmosphere is very warming and comforting. The food is delicious and comes out fast. My server Misty is very knowledgeable about the food and always recommends the best food on the menu. Along with the great conversation with her she’s a great addition to The Bao. I wish I was able to give this place 10 stars but unfortunately I can only do 5 stars.

this will always be one of my favorite old stomping grounds, were you always can get a nice cheap hot slice of pizza! Upon ordering the pizza, they put it in the oven to get warm and crispy, and was so fresh upon my order. They have options for garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. A lot of soda variety as well to your liking. This place will never go out of style, and have been coming here for years! 10/10 would highly recommend

One of the best bakeries in the city. I’m so glad I don’t live closer, I’d be there every day which would be bad for my health. The pistachio rose croissant is perfection. It gets a lot of attention, and rightly so, but don’t let it distract you from the rest of their offerings. Everything they bake is incredible, we also love the halva chocolate croissant and chocolate chip cookie are standouts. And they make a good cup of coffee to boot!

Delicious dumplings! We stopped by on a Monday evening and only had about a 5-minute wait. They use a convenient QR code waitlist, which made things easy. We ordered the vegetable, crab, and signature pork soup dumplings. This was my first time seeing vegetable soup dumplings, and I was intrigued. A really great tea house with desserts! They used to have a lot of tea options but it looks like now it's limited. My favorite thing from the recent visit was the black sesame creme brulee! The hojicha ice cream on the parfait was great, the parfait itself was ok. The service was quick and everything came out fast! The space is small though so if you're coming during peak hours it might be a wait.

We had an amazing time at Salma! The food was incredible! We got the appetizer platter (didn’t take a photo of everything) all of the dips were perfectly made but the muhummara and the hummus were definitely standouts! The kibbeh was also delicious. The meat platter was delicious as well and all of the meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The owner was super nice to us! We will definitely be coming back, this is now a new favorite restaurant of ours!

We waited about 20 minutes in line on a snowy Sunday morning. The line was long, but moved quick and efficiently. We ordered a sesame with cream cheee, and another sesame with cream cheese with tomato. The Sesame with tomato was perfection - it had a little drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper and typing that out makes my mouth water. Apollo bagels for sure lives up to the hype! The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

The sweetest service when you walk in from Pat with the Pink hat!!!! The food was absolutely incredible. The service was fast and the atmosphere was decorated beautifully. This place by far had the best mango sticky rice. The most juiciest tangy mangos with the sweetest and softest rice with the coconut glaze. The spicy basil noodles with beef had the right amount of spice and basil flavor.

Always an excellent experience at our favorite local bagel store. Julianna (sp) is a pleasure and so helpful. The food, service and choices are always on point. The transplants and tourists take over the place and seating is limited, but don’t let that deter you from visiting. TSB has one of the best bagels in NYC. Their coffee is good, as well.

Really love this spot in the East Village. Abraço has such a great vibe — small, cozy, and always full of good energy. The coffee is excellent and their pastries are fresh and delicious. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your morning. Definitely one of my favorite coffee stops in the neighborhood.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful lunch omakase here! I wasn't really sure what to expect, at $70 per person this place is by no means cheap, but it's also more affordable than a lot of the competition, so what do they compromise on? I came in for dinner and was not disappointed! We started with the warm sourdough and grass fed butter which was great, and then I got the half chicken. So flavorful and delicious! Absolutely loved our brunch at Ladybird in the East Village. From the second we walked in, the space felt like a dreamy hidden garden tucked into Manhattan. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The Frittata, Avocado Toast, Egg Sandwich, and Chocolate Chip Pancakes were all incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented.
