Great bar! Affordable drinks, outdoor seating, and it may sound silly but they always have perfectly toasted bread. The bartenders are awesome and friendly. They have fun events - trivia, karaoke, tv watch parties, etc. It’s a cool, social place to pop in and grab a few drinks. Added bonus if you like tinned fish.

((4.25 stars)) this Ninth Street Espresso location is directly across the street from Tompkins Square Park (TSP). a fairly small coffee shop. a few seats up front and some standing room, but this is very much a grab-and-go location because of the small clean welcoming interior /decor/ vibe as well as the foot traffic across Tenth Street and its convenience to TSP. the coffee is consistently good as i enjoy an Americano coffee served hot. great spot to grab a coffee and catch up with a friend in

Got a drip coffee to-go on a Tuesday morning, my barista was pleasant, the coffee just isn’t good. This is my second or third time trying Elsewhere and it’s so cute on the inside but the drip coffee at my bodega is better and $1 cheaper… previously I’ve tried a hot latte and an iced latte and I’m not sure what they’re doing wrong but I haven’t had anything drinkable here. If you want a cute interior and diner coffee, this place is for you. But if you are more selective… it’s a skip.

Had a delicious meal here recently. Our favorites: the buckwheat pancake with the smoked bluefish (absolutely delicious), the lobster roll, the monkfish with the kumquot, walnut and mint jams, the chicory salad (sublime). We also ordered the golden eye snapper with beets and yuzu (interesting but neither of us would order again). Do NOT pass up on the desserts. We ordered the celery ice cream float and the candied seaweed cake with licorice and citron - both amazing!!! In terms of ambiance, very

I have been to many Omakase and now this place has become one of my faves. Hands down to one of the best omakase meals I’ve had. Each piece melted in my mouth, and the progression of flavors was perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. Super fresh, super flavorful, and the chef made it such an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for a special night out at reasonable price 15 course for $78. The service here is amazing, the bartender Alexa is always so sweet and quite literally the funniest person i’ve met. Not to mention very attractive which is a plus. The drinks are delicious, my one thing I wish they had a few more food options. Regardless beautiful cocktails beautiful service and a beautiful bartender

Love this place. We had Turkish breakfast plate with sujuk, borek plate, pistachio creme cube croissant, and Turkish coffee. Everything was fresh and uniquely delicious, especially the fresh baked spinach feta borek and sujuk 😋 The kitchen and staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the sitting area was comfortable even for lunch. The cafe is filled with good lively vibes and care, which is rare to find these days. We had a great time. Can’t wait to go back to try more items on the menu inc

The East Village is always full of hidden gems, and this is one of those places that looks low-key from the outside but really delivers. It’s not a traditional large Chinese banquet-style restaurant. Instead, it feels more like a modern, refined Chinese spot that works well for dinner with friends or even a casual date. The menu includes a creative mix of Cantonese and Sichuan-inspired dishes, and overall the food was very consistent. Everything we ordered was solid. Here’s what we had: Black

We were looking for a bar before a meal at Tuome and found this sake bar near by. We went after our meal, walked in and it was very welcoming. Austin the owner was very friendly & had superb sake knowledge. We described drinks we liked & he found sake that reflected this. All the drinks we had were lovely & had a great chat with Austin. Highly recommend & would definitely go back. Great prices also. Large range of sake.

The coffee was OKAY at best and the rest went downhill immediately. Here is the scenario that unfolded. This was my very first time here and I wanted to give it a try. I ordered a decaf Americano and the young woman behind the counter made one for me. I sat at the counter and was sipping my drink and decided to take a few selfies of myself and some photos of my own reflection in the mirror right in front of me when the African American gentleman behind the counter asked me in a very loud voice “

Hostess did an amazing job! She was constantly encouraging people to order more, especially when they felt shy asking for big numbers. To ease the nerves, she told stories of past customers who ordered as much as 20 extra pieces of a sushi. She was super attentive, and made sure our cups were never empty. Nigiri’s were super fresh, and high quality. The chef did not pack that much rice, and the rice was yummy too.

Great coffee shop in the area. I’m always looking for places with a lot of seating so I don’t arrive with my art stuff only to realize there is no place to sit. Amazing fun decor inside, good coffee and treats. Note that they play the music fairly loud for anyone sensitive to that but to me it added to the atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This Tribeca location has a bright, welcoming atmosphere with cozy seating and the signature warmth of Puerto Rican hospitality. The coquito latte, made with oat milk, was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced—definitely one of the best flavored lattes in the city. I paired it with a chicken empanada that was fresh and savory. The staff was extremely friendly. The total cost was around $25-$45 per person. This has become my new go-to spot in the area!

Long-running chain serving signature donuts, breakfast sandwiches & a variety of coffee drinks.
The service at this Dunkin’ severely brings the rating down. Employees are incredibly rude and make you feel like you did something wrong just by coming to their Dunkin’. This negative environment permeates the establishment so intensely that I would recommend going to a different Dunkin’ altogether. The quality of the food is decently prepared for a Dunkin,’ but nonetheless would avoid due to the employees.

Amazing spot to work remotely! They play very chill music, which makes it a perfect spot to focus. There’s one high top table, two larger booths, and several bar spots to work from as well. ((4.5 stars)) Andrea's Pizza is another bright spot on the pizza map of NYC as the collective quality of pizza in Manhattan has been on the upswing for the past 10 years 1) bc people are more picky about their discretionary eating 2) bc fierce competition has bred pizza shops serving ever-improving quality pied and slices. accordingly, better pizzerias are dotting neighborhoods throughout boroughs. Their grilled teriyaki chicken is reason itself to stop by. It is absolutely delicious. They cut it up in front of you to keep it moist and juicy…and it is. We also got the honey walnut shrimp and the black pepper sirloin steak and for a “fast food” chain, this particular location gets it all right. The honey walnut shrimp was fresh, cooked beautifully, & sweet and salty just how we like it. The sirloin steak was good quality, tender, and flavorful. Small sports bar with an old New York feel. This place is simple. 12 beers on tap, a couple of wine and hard seltzer choices. There are around 10 smaller TVs in this pub, maybe 10 bar stools and 4 tables for about 8 people to sit. It’s definitely a Mets bar, but the sports decor makes this place really cool (this coming from a Yankees fan). $15 credit card minimum and they accept Visa and Mastercard only. The roti that was not part of the menu? AMAZING. Everything else was great but it didn’t really blow my mind. Shrimp was spicy but it wasn’t intolerable. The goat curry was great though, very tender. Duck sausage not my favorite. It’s more of a blood sausage if you like that it might be good. The dessert, coconut turnover, was very filling. It’s basically a bread. If you ever had the coconut cream bread from an Asian bakery, it reminds me of that. Nonetheless the bread was super fluffy, moist an

A good place to try food from different regions of Vietnam! My favorite dishes were the Rice Bún with Grilled Pork (so smoky and yum), Bò Lá Lốt (Betel Leaf Wagyu; unique and tasty), and Phở Bắp Hoa Bà Viên (Meatballs & Shank Pho, nice slightly herbal flavor that isn’t typical of the phos I’ve tried before although I wasn’t the biggest fan of the meatballs). Ordered a whole rotisserie chicken for pickup and it was completely raw inside. Unsafe to eat. I filed a complaint and never received a response. Save your money and go somewhere else. The photos speak for themselves. Update: After 5 days they issued a refund for the raw chicken. Good Breakfast Burrito. As I have eaten hundreds of BB before, this one is well made. Each component is very executed really well: avocado riped and well cut and positioned well. tattor tots very crispy, bacon as well and also cut into bit sized pieces, there is also cheese, egg, and harsh all well placed for "perfect breakfast burrito" Some room for improvements: too much cheese, and too little eggs.
