We came here for the Peking duck (half price on Wednesdays) with a group of friends. It was absolutely phenomenal and something I wish I could have everyday! Every other dish we sampled was fresh and full of flavor. Hope to go back in the future! The inside is clean and comfortable. However, the water glasses were extremely tiny and the staff was constantly refilling the glasses. The cups for tea were also very small. Besides that, we loved our visit!

This place is really special. A friend at work who loves her foodie spots suggested this little gem and she was spot on with these juicy delicious huge dumplings that will fill you up! The short story about the beginnings of this little dumpling empire started off as a small stand at the LIC Flea market before opening up their food truck in Long Island city in 2017. After a short while, and lots of word of mouth the owner finally opened up a location here in the greatest city on earth🌐🏙, righ

Tried this place recently and honestly really enjoyed it. The skewers were the best part of the meal for sure. Both the chicken and lamb were super flavorful, tender, and cooked really well. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the seasoning was spot on. We kept ordering more because they were so good. I also liked how the ordering worked. Every table has an iPad, so you just place your order there and it goes straight to the kitchen. It made everything really easy and convenient, especially

Sanku Maots'ai is a build-your-own maocai (DIY Sichuan hot pot) spot, and even on a quick stop it's easy to see why it's running a 4.6. The concept is the draw: you walk the cold case, pick exactly what you want from a big spread of vegetables, noodles, proteins and add-ins, choose your broth, and they cook it to order. There's a free self-serve sauce bar with universal, sesame, seafood, Sichuan and low-fat dipping setups, plus a clearly posted allergen guide, which is a nice touch for anyone wa

Located in Vanderbilt market. I came here for lunch the other day and I liked it. I got the mixed chicken rice. The rice itself was the highlight for me, it was aromatic and flavorful, especially after mixing it with the three sauces provided (ginger scallion, spicy, and a sweet soy sauce type). As for the meat, the poached chicken wasn't as tender and juicy as I expected, but I still really liked the gelatinous skin on it. The roast chicken was great, the meat was juicy and the skin was flavor

Vintage dim sum parlor dating back to 1920 with a drink menu that includes tea, beer & wine.
I had such a special experience at Nom Wah Tea Parlor. This historic restaurant, dating back to 1920, truly preserves its tradition and authentic flavors, which makes it incredibly unique. I felt so happy to be there, it’s not just a meal, but a memorable experience. Everything was delicious, but I absolutely loved the egg roll. It’s incredibly soft, made with a real egg wrapper, and simply exquisite. Everything was divine. A truly one-of-a-kind and delicious experience that I would highly rec

A decent spot for a quick bite, offering both dine-in and takeout. The food overall is alright, I tried the lunch special braised pork with rice, which was just okay, but their shrimp dumplings are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend getting those. The service is a bit hit-or-miss; the person cooking and serving wasn't very warm until after I tipped, haha. Overall, not a bad place if you're looking for a fast, casual meal.

Casual all-you-can-eat place with a wide range of Chinese dishes, sushi, hibachi fare & desserts.
Cons: 1. The food, service and ambiance are all OK. 2.Dishes are hit or miss. Food is general food you can get at a neighborhood Chinese restaurant or foods that can be made at home if you are a decent cook. Desserts are dry and lack flavor. 3. Service is cut and dry. The servers will walk up and rush you to pick your drink before you even sit down. 4. So much seafood during dinner (con if you have seafood allergies or sensitivities). Not a place I would recommend for anyone with dietary restric

Came here for their reputable noodles. I ordered a bowl of burning noodles with beef, a stewed pork burger, and fried pork & chive dumplings. The first look at the noodles threw me off. I almost forgot what I ordered. There were yellowish sliced beef on my noodles. I wasn’t sure if it was curry or what to give it that color. The beef was incredibly fatty and tough. The noodles were tasteless. I thought it should have been flavorful and savory. It wasn’t spicy, either. So why was it called “burn

My standards for canto food is prob quite high since ive had so much, but i thought this place was okay. Each dish was either lacking flavor or not flavorful enough. My fav was the veggie dish. I think it was cooked perfectly with the perfect amt of crunch, BUT the seasoning and flavors were not thoroughly distributed. One piece of choy would taste good, while one was bland, while one was just very salty. I thought the flavoring for the spare ribs were good but the sauce was a lil too runny,

Amazing traditional Cantonese food. Amazing seafood and various other dishes you really don't see anywhere else. I recommend getting a bigger group because it is family style and you can try more dishes the more people you got! There's pretty good dim sum in the morning going into the afternoon but its super busy usually in the early morning so around noon would be better if you're looking for a less hectic time.

The food was good. It’s basic Chinese food with some uncommon items like pork belly. The two-entree menu was a good buy for $12. I had eggplant-tofu-string beans and pork belly with peppers. Both were excellent. Food wasn’t too salty and I didn’t feel any msg. The servers were nice and the space is bright and cheery. I would go back to see how the menu changes. I saw someone with an egg-seafood dish and it looked really good.

I was pleasantly surprised by this new Japanese spot near Times Square. The biggest highlight is definitely the $11.95 Bento Box, which is hard to find in this area. The portion was generous, making it an amazing value for Midtown. The sushi was fresh, the fish tasted clean, and the rolls were well made with a good balance of rice and filling. Everything arrived beautifully presented, and the restaurant itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. If you’re looking for quality Japanese food with

Delicious comfort food! You order and pay at the front, then take your table number and sit wherever there’s an available spot. The claypot rice takes about 15–20 minutes to come out. We got the signature combo claypot with Chinese sausage, chicken, and salted egg. It came with a veggie side dish and a soup of your choice. We also ordered the chicken mushroom claypot. Once it arrives, pour a little sauce from the table over the rice, but don’t add too much. Then mix everything together. The bo

Massive, bustling Cantonese mainstay ferrying a wide variety of dim sum via fast-moving carts.
Go-to place for a classic Chinese dim sum experience. Consistent flavor and service. Got dim sum trolleys on weekends, you barely see that in China anymore. Can get crowded so come early, but tables turn around fast enough. My favorite, pork short ribs, shrimp dumplings, chicken feet and piggy buns. Never gets tired! Great for big family gatherings and wedding corporate events because of the round table, big space and media equipments.

Clean and bright space to eat in. You order at a kiosk, but i recommend looking over menu before going to kiosk. I ordered the combo, roast duck and soy sauce chicken delish! enjoyed the shrimp rolls, chicken wontons were ok and lemon tea wasnt very sweet. overall experience was good. This place is a gem and I genuinely love it. I’ve been coming here for dinner for many years, usually with a large group of at least 10 friends, and we always have a great time. The atmosphere is lively, the food is consistent, and it’s the kind of spot that just works for a big group of Chinese food lovers. I know they’re best known for their dim sum brunch and lunch, which absolutely deserves the hype, but I promise you, dinner is just as fantastic. One of my favorite things to do is pick some

I did not enjoy their peking duck very much. The duck skin with caviar on dry bread did not work for me. The rest of the duck was okay, but somewhat fatty and low on flavor. I also did not like the service. It is overbearing and there are too many people staring at you eating and wrapping up your peking duck. Also, I asked my waiter whether we ordered an appropriate amount of food for two people, and it ended up being clearly too much — and my friend and I are guys with big appetites. I underst

Had such a wonderful experience at China Wok tonight! The owner lady is always so kind and welcoming, but tonight was especially touching. She wrote “Happy Mother’s Day” on the receipt with a little smiley face, and that small gesture honestly made my night. My girlfriend and I were visiting NYC Chinatown for a bit of a food tour, and we decided to stop by Big Wong’s to try some of their classic dishes. It’s a spot that many of our friends and family make a point to visit whenever they’re in the city. Like many Chinatown restaurants, you can expect older decor, cleanliness that may feel questionable by some standards, and service that isn’t always polished. That said, people come here for the food, and as long as it delivers, they keep coming back.

Everything was mid except the garlic eggplant and ginger scallion fish. I liked the actual vibes of the place tho. The audience wasn’t very Asian. Prob won’t come back - Yellow beef: 5/10, lacked flavor despite appearance. Not spicy at all even though it had three spicy pepper symbols on the menu. Disappointing - Ginger scallion poached fish fillet: 9/10, I liked this a lot. Not bad overall. The $68 buffet includes Australian wagyu, seafood, and various kinds of sushi. The staff come by from time to time to help grill and cut the meat, which is nice. Each plate of meat is quite large, so it is best to order only what you are most interested in, otherwise it is easy to end up with too much food.
