We had an amazing dinner at this Italian restaurant in New York! Every single dish was delicious from start to finish. The appetizers alone were unforgettable. The mussels in white sauce were absolutely divine, and the broth was so flavorful it was honestly the kind of sauce you want to sip with a spoon (we saved some to dip our bread 🫣). The fried mozzarella was also a standout with the best cheese pull, perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey inside. Everything that followed was just as de

this is a lovely family run restaurant, the chef is very kind and offers to make changes to dishes without even being asked to. his wife is the baker here and makes amazing bread. we came for my brother’s birthday. each of us ordered a different dish, and each dish was a hit. we’ll be returning soon!

Everything about this Italian pasta restaurant was absolutely amazing. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

5 stars to food, service and atmosphere!!!! Cozy and “moody.” They’ve got oldies playing with vibey lighting. I was really drawn by light fixtures at the bar and the overall design of the bar. Portions were perfectly sized, flavors were SPOT ON. Pictures really don’t do it justice but the brussel sprouts with arugula were really nice and cronchy. Beets tasted like a balanced appetizer dessert, not too sweet, the honey nor the Gorgonzola overpowered and the walnuts were a nice addition for textu

When we arrived early on a Thursday evening, we were the only guests in the restaurant. That didn’t last long, the dining room filled up fairly quickly. I’m not sure if that’s typical or if it was because it was the last day of Restaurant Week. Our server was attentive, and the owner was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I really debated whether or not to write this review. In hindsight, I probably should have spoken to the owner directly. My impression is that he may not regularly taste the

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian cuisine. Several tables are available for dining in with servers. It is closed on Mondays. Pizza, pasta, appetizers, salads, entrees, heroes, wraps, rolls, burgers, sides, desserts 🍨 and beverages ☕️ are on the menu. Catering and private parties are options. I ordered a margherita pizza 🍕, eggplant roll 🍆 and side order of meatballs. The food was average in taste and flavor.

thanks to Roberto and Valentina, who provided outstanding service throughout our visit. Roberto was incredibly friendly, attentive, fast, and always making sure everything was perfect. There are four types of restaurants in the world. NYC has a lot of restaurants that are expensive and are good or those that are cheap and are good. Unfortunately, Bar Italia is expensive and awful. I was charged $39 pre-tax, pre-tip 19 pieces of chicken cubes (yes, I counted)! The manager had the GALL to say “well we made it already so BUON APPETITO!” Completely disrespectful, arrogant, and awful! If I get charged $39 pretax for “half chicken” (as stated on the menu), I expect a half chicken.

By far the best Italian I’ve ever tried. My god it was delicious. The mussels tasted really fresh and the soup gots all the good flavor from the mussels. Pork shank incredibly tender and goes great with the creamy potato’s. Veal chop was grilled to perfection to medium and is absolutely stunning.

Interesting experience but quality food. Firstly, after asking 3 people from bar tender to front desk, nobody knew where my event was. The food was flavorful and tasty but steak was a little cold. As we had the private room we needed to go through the kitchen to use the bathroom. So it was good because of the people, conversation, ambiance and overall food. It was timely, portioned and flavorful. Just bring the bread before appetizers please.

Best pizza in Manhattan—no contest. The crust strikes that rare balance: perfectly crisp with just enough chew, and the cheese is exceptional—rich, flavorful, and clearly high quality. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the kind of place you want to linger. The owners set the tone—genuinely friendly and attentive. An old school traditional Italian restaurant where you can tell every piece of gnocchi was made by hand. Incredible find in the hood. There’s something truly special about Campagnola that keeps me coming back. It feels like stepping into a different era, where everything is a little slower, a little warmer, and a lot more authentic. The old school Italian atmosphere is exactly what you hope for but rarely find anymore. It’s not trying too hard, it just is. Soft lighting, classic decor, and that comforting sense that generations of people have sat in those same seats enjoying the same timeless dishes. And the pasta… honestly,

This is easily one of the best gelato shops in the Brooklyn area. We stopped by on a lazy Sunday late morning, and the place had such a vibrant, cozy vibe. It’s a small shop with a few street-side tables where people were sitting and enjoying their treats, and right across the street, a farmers’ market was happening — which made the whole scene feel lively and charming. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the same standard. Classy but predictable. Excellent food -corresponding to expectation- albeit sadly presented. Minimalistic with too many lines and inadequate fixtures. Cold, dry lighting. I’d been craving Italian for a while, so we tried Cremini’s in Brooklyn last weekend. For a neighborhood spot, it was quite nice, and the owner was very pleasant. I really liked that they focus on food and wine from the Marche region, which you don’t see that often and makes for some unique options compared to a typical Italian menu.
