The Baja fish tacos were SO good so definitely the star of the meal 🌮🔥 I’d honestly come back just for those!! The carne asada was a little too salty for my taste, and the birria itself was good, but the consommé/sauce it came with was also a bit salty for me :( That said, I didn’t mention it to staff because it may just be my personal preference. We have been here twice during our stay in the Upper East Side. Both times the food and service have been great. All the seafood was great, but I would sell my left kidney for the mussels alla vodka! Definitely ask for extra sourdough bread. And for a little more fun, sit at the bar. It’s semi-private (due to the support column in the middle) and fun to watch good bartenders at work. Warm and inviting for a chilly day. Had the best toasted pastrami salmon open sandwich ever. The coffees were great. And typical American chewy cookies, was yum. Lovely intimate place to pass the cold away.

We visited this past Saturday and everything was excellent. We were able to be seated immediately and the host accommodated our request to sit outside without hesitation. Our server Joseph went above and beyond with recommendations and speedy service. He also checked on us consistently after the outdoor seating became a bit too chilly to bare and allowed us to move inside the restaurant. The nachos were great and fresh, definitely recommend. Got the fresco burger and it was delicious. The pizza crust bun was different. Its thin and a bit doughy/chewy compared to a regular burger bun. The sun dried pepper spread and cheese is a nice twist to a regular burger taste. Comes with nice crispy fries that were very addictive. Beautiful little tavern on the upper east side, its been here for decades and has all the favorites of an Italian bistro, with food that’s tasty and efficient in this tiny little space it just doesn’t disappoint from the great lattes to the excellent wines we were just happy to pick up some panini and dessert and had a full on feast. We glad this spot is still around with the original team, keep up the great work.

I have often walked past the Pick A Bagel on E 77th and Lexington but it’s often so busy that I missed out on their delicious muffins, coffee and bagels ! They also have impressive looking paninis! However, recently I’ve been enjoying their baked goids as well as their coffee! And it’s definitely worth waiting on line, since everything I’ve eaten there is indeed delicious. They also give a significant discount if you pay cash!

My wife loved her blintzes but my salad combo was just okay. Egg salad was fine but the tabbouleh was a little different than how I have had it before. Came here after a failed trip to Sojourn Social. Got amazing service for my takeout order. The woman taking my order answered all of my questions and they immediately began working on my order. Once I ordered, she immediately walked to the back to make the coffee I ordered. I also always feel at ease when I see staff taking their lunch break inside. I didn't know he was the owner initially, but he and his staff anticipates their customers every need better than a Michelin star restaurant. Wonderful holiday lunch- One of those rare experiences where everything feels special. The food was delicious and what made it even better was the service by William, which was impeccable.
