Honestly, I want to give EJ’s a bad review so that it’s less crowded and I can wait less time when I go. But this place is amazing and everyone should try it. The matzo ball soup is the best I’ve ever had (other than my grandmother’s of course). I’d consider an act of corporate espionage just for the recipe. Kazi at the bar is always super friendly and takes great care of everyone, especially us local regulars who sit at the counter. EJ’s and Kazi are one reason I will never leave the Upper Eas

A must eat at restaurant in new york. They provide delicious Iranian food specially kobideh and grill menu, also the badinjan is delicious. Sauces with the bread increase your appetite. I didn’t like the shibzi stew it was a little bitter. Rice was very delicious. I visited them twice both experiences were perfect. Best Iranian food in the town. I came here for a pastrami bagel and i loved everything about it! 🤗 First you need to choose bagel, i was okay with the recommended “everything”. Then you can ask for toast, of course i did. There goes some mustard and a big load of meat. It comes in a paper bag and i could choose a soda too. To my surprise, there was a portion of coleslaw and pickles in the bag too. What a cool menu! 🫡 All this for 26$. The bagel was flawless, fresh and crunchy. But the most important thing was the meat, perf

Came here for a corporate party, pretty cool, food not too bad, decent joint if you're looking for a bar and food. Modern spot with an enclosed patio for regional Indian dishes.
The flavors are strong, balanced, and a bit fiery in a great way. The Madurai goat chukka was moist, meaty, and really spiced well. Not too spicy, the roast's sauce has that great color and the orchestra of spices to justify the color. The mutton rolls are spicier than expected but still good. The chicken kothu was mellower and well balanced, a bit heavy so be aware. And of course the wattapalam is the best way to finish. Custardy with cardamom and cloves, this was a throwback dish for me. I have to pay $16+ for this portion?? The photo shows the portion exactly as I received it—untouched. I believe there should be some kind of standard portion size, rather than just a "I'll give you a little if I feel like it, or a lot if I feel like it" approach.

The Baja fish tacos were SO good so definitely the star of the meal 🌮🔥 I’d honestly come back just for those!! The carne asada was a little too salty for my taste, and the birria itself was good, but the consommé/sauce it came with was also a bit salty for me :( That said, I didn’t mention it to staff because it may just be my personal preference. Service was really good, and overall I’d still come back for those Baja fish tacos thoooo 😭✨

Stood in line for an hour to visit the café. Did not disappoint. Beautifully appointed. Lovingly restored. Snagged a lovely booth by a large picture window looking out onto 5th Avenue. The menu looked good. Since I had already had lunch, I just had the hot chocolate with rum. Yum! Can’t wait to come back and try the full menu and linger longer. American Mexican restaurant. Nothing impressive. We ordered a margarita pitcher and they brought us a strawberry margarita pitcher - we just drank it because it wasn’t a big deal to us but not what we ordered. They took away our chips and guac when the guac was gone but we still had a full basket of chips. They closed at 10pm on Saturday night and were very rude in rushing customers out - turned all the lights on and began stacking chairs next to sitting customers while the staff all huddled in

Celebrated birthday with a friend and ended up in a place where the team truly cares about their guests. The staff works with attention to detail: presentation, timing, service, everything is precise. The grilled octopus is soft with the right texture. The salmon tartare feels almost creamy. We have been here twice during our stay in the Upper East Side. Both times the food and service have been great. All the seafood was great, but I would sell my left kidney for the mussels alla vodka! Definitely ask for extra sourdough bread. And for a little more fun, sit at the bar. It’s semi-private (due to the support column in the middle) and fun to watch good bartenders at work. Highly recommend this place.

I had a burger, and it was incredibly juicy and delicious. The shakshuka was also excellent — rich in flavor, perfectly seasoned. Got the fresco burger and it was delicious. The pizza crust bun was different. Its thin and a bit doughy/chewy compared to a regular burger bun. The sun dried pepper spread and cheese is a nice twist to a regular burger taste. Comes with nice crispy fries that were very addictive. Great little burger place! It’s artisanal and run by young people — very friendly and dynamic! They offered us a drink, which was very nice of them. EAT looks great from the outside but the restaurant is very busy with some tight seating in some areas. Service is attentive but when we were ready to leave it was hard getting the bill. Daniel Boulud's cafe serving high-end French fare in a chic setting.
Café Boulud is a gem. From the warm, polished service to the exquisite food, everything here feels effortlessly refined. I started with the pâte en croûte-flaky, rich, and beautifully spiced-followed by the coq au vin, which was fall-apart tender in a deeply flavorful red wine sauce. My dining companion had the sole meunière, perfectly filleted tableside and bathed in brown butter. The ambiance strikes the ideal balance: elegant but never stuffy, with soft lighting and crisp white tablecloths. T
