Cent'Anni is a charming Italian restaurant that feels like a hidden slice of Italy tucked into the neighborhood. The dining room is cozy and intimate, with close quarters that add to the warm and inviting atmosphere rather than feeling crowded. Every detail contributes to the feeling that you've stepped into a small neighborhood restaurant somewhere in Italy. The bar is fully stocked, and the cocktail program feels thoughtfully curated, making it a great spot whether you're stopping in for dinn

I went to Dominick’s with my husband for his birthday and we were greeted with such love. It truly felt like home. The environment was so welcoming and the food was amazing. First time trying the pasta happy hour, and it was like being invited into someone's home. The service was friendly and warm; and the food was delicious. We ordered the pappardelle with bolognese, and campanelle with blue crab. At regular price, they're a bit expensive; but pasta happy hour is a steal and totally worth it. We liked both pastas equally. I'm not big on dining out with pasta because they generally all taste the same and are overpriced; but the pastas here were uniquely flavored, an

I loved this charming little wine bar/restaurant. We each had a cocktail, tried a different salad and split a pizza. Drinks were great, service was really great, and the food was really good. We got a white pizza. I loved the crust. I tried the mango salad, which was delicious and the fried goat cheese on top was really delicious.

This place was actually Plan C, since Plan A and Plan B would both require 1hr+ wait. The city don't joke around with brunch... anyways we walked in after seeing street sign advertising their "Pizzas", so it turned out to be NOT what we expected but that's cool too. They feature two things - the Trapizzini is a triangle bread with filling and the Suppli is a fried risotto ball - each with a variety of flavor options. These bread pockets were soft but firm (also the ideal mattress), buttered up

Neighborhood Italian restaurant serving red-sauce fare in a family-friendly setting.
We walked in late afternoon. Kids ordered pasta marinara and garlic bread with cheese (OMG!!!!!!!!). It was sooo good!!! The bread was my favorite as I wanted a snack only. It was so so tasty and full of flavors 🤤🥹 the lady who served us was very sweet and attentive. The food was brought pretty fast which is a real break point when you go for food with kids. And let me tell you, the food was brought fast but was gone fast as well, because it was extremely good! Prices were pretty fare as well.

I hit up this Italian spot in Astoria and had a really great experience. I sat outside and even though they take reservations, I didn't need one to get a table. The hospitality was excellent right from the start, with the staff being super attentive throughout the meal. As for the food, everything tasted incredibly fresh and well made. I ordered the seafood black ink pasta and you could tell the pasta was homemade and the sauce was cooked just right. It’s a solid spot with great service and I'd

Italian seafood restaurant located in the basement of a historical brownstone.
Valentines dinner had many hits! The oysters were amazing, had a nice salty buttery taste. The scallops were delicious with a tasty puree. Definitely the highlight of the courses. Tartare was a treat but the toasted bread was the star. Like was that brioche or what ?!! Last but not least the cake. Omg it was so rich, decedent and sweet. Best cake I’ve had a restaurant. My entree was the short beef rib. It was so tender. Omg ! The glazed carrots were perfect. This restaurant is a lovely vibe. Th

The pizza is hands down the best of NYC. We had a Marguerita with an added burrata as well as a filet of grilled bronzino served with a generous portion of delicious vegetables. I wanted to order another Marguerita for dessert but decided to behave and sticked to a good old school Tiramisu. You could tell pros are in the kitchen ! Great clean place with good food. I went here on a Saturday night and it was kinda busy but there were tables available to sit at. The waiters are good with taking your orders and giving you your food but if you ask for separate checks they put all the checks in the same book and you have to figure out which check is yours by your self. The place had decent heating for the winter. Overall I recommend going here for Italian food

A hidden gem of an Italian restaurant in the West Village - does the “Roman” part put familiar Mediterranean/Spanish flavors on the menu? Perhaps! Dinner was delicious, service was great, and the space is cozy and decorated beautifully. My favorites were the anchovies with nori butter, tuna crudo, Amatriciana pasta, and grilled Iberico. The wine list had too many unfamiliar wines for me - the servers were helpful in selecting a wine by the glass. Recommended.

We had ordered quite a few dishes and were truly happy with everything. The burrata was creamy and silky, probably the best l have ever had. The arancine should be listed as extra large, they are huge! The spaghetti with chicken meatballs were a hit with my friend's son and the gnocchi melted in your mouth, they were so soft. There were two downsides. We were a party of three but they seated us at a two top right on top of the wait station with plenty of open tables. Also, our server might hav

Italian fare & a deep wine list served in a rustic, candlelit setting that lends a romantic vibe.
Absolutely loved this salmon dish at Doc Wine Bar! The fish was cooked perfectly — tender inside with a nice sear on top. It came on a bed of colorful sautéed veggies that added a fresh crunch and a pop of flavor. The roasted lemon on the side gave it that extra citrusy kick, and the sauce tied everything together beautifully. Pair it with one of their crisp cocktails (like an Aperol spritz) and you’ve got a meal that’s both light and satisfying. Perfect spot for a relaxed evening out!

Gigino Trattoria is a solid Italian spot with a nice, open space that’s great for a relaxed meal. The food is good, but it didn’t stand out as much as some other Italian places in the area. Service was okay but not the best. Everyone was pleasant, but it wasn’t very attentive and we had to get their attention a few times. Dessert was the highlight and definitely worth ordering, though it felt pricey for the portion size. Overall, a good option for the neighborhood, just not my top Italian pick

The food here is genuinely great and I’d absolutely come back for it. However, I’m knocking off a star for the service at the end of our meal. Within about 5 minutes of paying the bill, our waiter made it pretty clear he wanted us to free up the table for waiting guests. I completely get that restaurants need to turn tables, but we had barely set down our cards. The Pappardelle bolognese's wide pasta is so tender and allows the bolognese to attach to it, making every bite enjoyable. THIS IS NOT A BOUGIE RESTAURANT . They serve bakery bought bread. You will not get warm rolls here! Their food also does not taste premium in quality. On the evening of 1/9/26, I ordered the fried calamari appetizer, the Lobster Toscano and a New Old Fashioned. The fried calamari was semi-crisp, and it tasted like it was fried frozen. Squeezing fresh lemon over it and dipping it in the garlic aioli did nothing to enhance the taste. Perhaps a marinara sauce would have paired better. The c

I tried the seafood pasta with black squid ink tagliatelle and the tiramisu, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The squid ink pasta was visually striking and flavorful. Went here about 2 weeks ago to check out the pizza here. I already visited the L&B Spumoni Gardens original location. We ordered the original square pie. The cheese is put on the pizza first and then the sauce. The pizza is very good but not a great one like Juliana's or Totonno's (in the past). The crust is doughy. I like it but I prefer coal fire oven pizza. Service was attentive and it was not crowded when we went. It's worth a try. Also get the Spumoni, it's dynamite.

Simple Italian spot with a bar up front & a menu of pastas, wood-fired pizzas & other classics.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tre Sorelle is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The pizza is outstanding — perfectly crisp crust, high-quality ingredients, and balanced flavors in every bite. But the real standout? The vodka sauce. It’s hands down one of the best I’ve ever had rich, creamy, and packed with flavor without being too heavy. You can taste the care in every dish. If you’re looking for incredible pizza and top-tier service, Tre Sorelle de

Food Review — Patricia’s, Bronx Time to try Patricia’s in the Bronx. This restaurant has already made a strong name in the area, and it certainly didn’t disappoint us. The ambiance was warm, and we felt welcomed as soon as we stepped in. We visited just before New Year’s, and the restaurant was at full capacity, yet everything ran smoothly. Our orders arrived on time, and the server was very attentive, always smiling and checking on customers. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well presented

Open since 1976, this family-run fixture with vintage charm serves homemade pasta & classic entrees.
We came here on a last-minute change of plans (re: hangry and desperate), otherwise I don't think I'd ever have willingly entered. Villa Mosconi is your tough, blue-collar Italian uncle in restaurant form. The interior is old, dingy and depressing. The furniture feels stuffy, the wall decor feels outdated--everything is just '80s Sopranos. Right down to the service--the one highlight--which was friendly in a gruff and tough kind of way. Unfortunately, the food wasn't impressive enough to make

Stopped by Andiamo Pizza one afternoon for a quick bite and ended up having such a great experience. We ordered a slice of thin crust pizza and the pesto pasta, which came with a Greek salad — everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The pizza was thin, crispy, and very flavorful. The pesto pasta was especially fresh with olive oil and a light, tasty sauce that really stood out. The Greek salad was a perfect side. What made the experience even better was the service. Even though it lo
