Visiting this beautiful restaurant on a Saturday was the perfect decision for a delicious brunch. The chicken club sandwich was an absolute delight. My daughter enjoy so much the French Toast with strawberries and nutella. The crab cake was so delicious and we eventually got a 2nd order of it to go. I also tried their Lobster roll, and I was really impressed. was full so got dessert to go, the Chocolate layer cake was super yummy. The strawberry short cake was very refreshing. Homey restaurant offering international cuisine, all-day dining & a cocktail bar in a homey space.
It had been a while since I visited my old neighborhood, and it was such a joy to see how the area has grown with a mix of new and familiar spots. This was my first time dining at The Consulate – UWS, and it instantly became a new favorite. The decor is beautiful — stylish without trying too hard — and the service was genuinely welcoming. We felt taken care of from the moment we walked in. The food was the real standout. - Escargot: Delicious and tender. I personally would’ve loved a bit more

Bi-level French brasserie with a popular brunch, a vibrant bar scene & live opera Saturday nights.
Visited during the Christmas holiday, the decorations were indescribable! Service was pretty decent for a Saturday. My party of eight sat at a high table, however the chairs were super unstable(don’t recommend if you have small children). I ordered the Pesto Chicken Sandwich which comes with fries, thin sliced and hearty serving. They have a variety of seasonal drinks, which I really appreciate. I got the Bad Santa which was good overall, however could’ve been colder. Overall, Papillon’s is a cu

I went to the 51st street location on Sunday, midday around 3 PM. I was by myself and sat at the bar. Staff was kind and very attentive. I go to lots of restaurants alone and because I’m not a big party I find I don’t always get the best service. This is the third location I’ve been to and every time it has been a wonderful and pleasant experience. That says something about the people they hire and what they put into their employees. I spoke with the manager and bartender during and after my mea

I stopped into the restaurant to get lunch. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. The place was cozy and busy. I was sat and served by Mohammed and he was super nice. I ordered: Ginger Martini Moules Mariniere (white wine sauce) Truffle Macaroni and cheese Dibi Haoussa (Rack of Lamb, couscous, spinach) Homemade Tirimisu The food was really tasty and my favorite was the Moules! It was so tasty with flavors! All in all a good experience!

Had a chocolate chip scone and hot vanilla latte. They warmed up the scone and it was great, nothing special but just what I was craving. However, I was happily surprised with the vanilla latte, it was SO good. I usually only like cold drinks and not hot but this was amazing! Satisfied with my experience. Only complaint is that there is not enough seating inside for the amount of people there, especially when it’s cold out. Great stuff!

Casual Italian restaurant serving fresh pasta, pizza, wine & cocktails.
My partner and I went here for a Saturday morning brunch as a way to start the day. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate decor with pretty great and attentive service. It can be a bit loud and cramped due to the layout but you do sit pretty close to other patrons. My partner and myself ordered the Rise and Shine breakfast platter, though I got mine with egg whites instead of whole eggs. The food tasted pretty clean but forgettable in flavor with pretty substantially small portion sizes. I had

The venue has a nice vibe & is a good place to meet friends. The service might be slow & you might be greeted by some unfriendly hosts who might make faces, looking as if they don't want to be working there... The drinks were fine, but again, took forever to be served at the bar… and the burger wasn't good at all, probably my burgers cooked at home taste much better.

The atmosphere was full of good looking young people location is great given Greenwich Village Townhouse rich vibes, music made it super fun for our Valentines day dinner. Food highlight was the creme brulee. The peppercorn sauce for the steak disappointed but stake was soft and juicy and side potatoes delicious. Moules were ok not great. Buzzy, narrow Belgian pub serving various moules frites & other classic eats, plus native beers.
Very Parisian stylish ambiance, definitely worth visiting just for the mood alone. But the food was also great. My vol au vent with scallops and mushrooms was amazing and my friend liked her mussels. Great vine selection as well as good ciders including a pear one. The chocolate mousse was just ok. It was barelly filled between 3 and 5pm on Friday and I hope they will get more clients, totally deserve that.

Friday night. West Village. Felt like I time-traveled straight to the South of France 🇫🇷 Hit up Le Petit Village with a friend and immediately knew this wasn’t your average “let’s grab dinner” situation. First time at this local and cozy place. I loved the atmosphere and the crowd. Our server was very friendly, giving complementary bread and butter; we ordered the steak and beef burger, steak was yummy and the burger was okay, patty wasn’t seasoned enough, good fries and salad though. Okay so first thing first, I went in thinking this was going to be a cute romantic French bistro. It is NOT that. People were jumping on tables. The music was loud. It was basically a club that also serves really good food. Once I got over the shock of that I had an amazing time. The croque monsieur was so good. Comes out on a wooden board, cheese everywhere, topped with parsley. Just a really fun dish. Also got the hachis parmentier which is basically a French shepherd’s pie and it was super

I'm still seated at the bar as I write this review. While the food I've tried has been tasty, I am absolutely shocked by the price to portion ratio (and I say this as someone who dines out in NYC almost every night). The steak au poivre costs $56 and can be finished in 12 bites. I struggle to believe it was even 6 ounces of meat, easily the smallest New York strip I've ever seen, and comes atop a pool of the wateriest peppercorn sauce. You'd be better served spending the $135 for the 2-person, 3

While walking around the Upper West Side near 86th Street, I got a craving for truffle fries. I searched for places nearby and found a review that said, “Do yourself a favor and try the truffle fries,” so I did— and absolutely no regrets! From the warm welcome to the music, ambiance, and attentive servers, everything was top-notch. I also took a moment to try the crispy artichokes, and they were another standout dish. A lovely French restaurant with a warm, cozy atmosphere. It is small and intimate with only around nine tables, but the seating is comfortable and not cramped at all. Very kid friendly, which made the experience even better. Our waitress was exceptional and truly went beyond the usual level of service, which felt especially refreshing these days. Wonderful service and incredible food. The sea bass, cod and steak frites were cooked to perfection. What actually brought me in was the soufflé, albeit a bit small but it was delicious. The creme brûlée was the winner out of the 3 desserts we enjoyed. The bar tender helped us close out the night with a free mini-cocktail, a concoction of hibiscus with gin and elderflower! This is one of the locations of the famous Parisian bakery in New York, but unlike their larger branches, this one feels more like a small pop-up. It’s quite compact, with very limited space and surprisingly no washroom, which was disappointing for a café. We stopped by for hot chocolate, but they don’t offer the full café experience here — no ceramic cups or signature pots — everything is served in to-go cups, which takes away from the usual charming vibe.
